The Department of Interior Design, College of Fine Arts and Design of the University of Santo Tomas
has been regarded as the pioneering school in interior design in the Philippines. As such, the University
puts premium in the quality of its program. To maintain the quality of its program, the Department of
Interior Design requires its students to undertake an extensive and intensive Thesis Course as part of its
terminal requirement.
The Thesis Course involves a comprehensive design research, proposal and solutions to a design project
of choice by the thesis candidate, which will eventually be defended before a Panel of Jurors.
Part of the initial requirements of the Thesis Course is for the thesis candidate to source possible
proposed, on-going or existing architectural projects for presentation and approval by the thesis advisers.
In view of this, may we seek for your assistance in providing architectural plans (site development plan,
floor plan, reflected ceiling plan, elevations, electro-mechanical plan, and auxiliary plan) whether in hard
copy or in CAD file. Attached please find pertinent documents for your perusal. Rest assured that these
architectural plans would be used exclusively for thesis purposes only.
We would appreciate any help you can extend to our thesis candidates. You may contact the undersigned
at trunk line 406-1611 local 8390 or the Thesis Candidate for any clarification that you may have on this
requirement.
Truly yours,
