Siege of Bogota Continues,
UN Condemns Aztlan
Aztlan military forces
continue to interdict any attempts to
bring aid into the people of Bogota
in violation of international norms.
This has led to a UN vote
condemning the actions of Aztlan
and demanding that they allow
humanitarian aid.
The UN Special Envoy
Marius Kwon has so far been
unsuccessful in getting Aztlan to
accept its responsibilities to
noncombatants trapped in the war
zone. Both sides continue to be
obstructionist but Aztlan has
provoked the current crisis.
Aztlan officials stress that
this is a defensive action in the wake
of the highly destructive attacks by
the dragon Sirrurg on Cali and
Managua that killed thousands.
Amazonia responds that
Aztlan provoked the war and that
Amazonia is only defending it land
and people. Further stating that
Sirrurg is not an agent of Amazonia
and his actions are his own.
The conflict continues with
casualties estimated to be in the tens
of thousands. Attempt to bring both
sides to the negotiating table are
ongoing.
KE and NAN Police Work to
Stop Smuggling
Knight Errant and the NAN
have established a joint anti-
smuggling task force to close down
the flows of illicit goods and
undocumented people to and from
the MetroPlex. Joint border patrols
and shared sensor data are planned to
foster cooperation.

STI to Expand Seattle
Transport Network
The Seattle Transport
Initiative, a joint project between
Seattle, the Salish-Sidhe Council,
Tir Tairngire and various
corporations to expand and improve
the air, road, rail and water
transportation. Enhanced
cooperation and unified policies
combined with increased
infrastructure investment are
expected to increase the carrying
capacity of the local transportation
network.
Our aim if to reduce
congestion and delays for transport
between Seattle and its neighbors by
one fifth by 2075, said MetroPlex
Transportation Secretary Nola
Graves-Bahk.
The first project under the
STI initiative is a full upgrading of
the entire length of the old Interstate
5 route. This is a major project that
is expected to take a full decade to
fully complete.
Seattle Stress play the Dublin
Knights at Home
The Seattle Stress are to play
the World Division Dublin Knights in
an exhibition match on Friday.
The Dublin Knights fell just
short of qualifying for promotion to
the Premier League this last season
and are expected to make this a very
competitive match.

Independence Day
Celebrations across Seattle
Tuesday is Independence
Day and government offices across
the MetroPlex will be closed. Events
are scheduled across the MetroPlex
to celebrate ending with a huge
display of fireworks both real and
virtual over downtown.
The MetroPlex Guard will be
leading a parade through downtown
starting at noon. This years theme
is United in Independence and
more than one hundred and twenty
civic groups and local schools are
contributing marchers. The Air
Force will be preforming a fly over
by the Snowbirds flight
demonstration team.
Rebel Entertainment is
sponsoring several open air music
venues across the Plex one of which
will be simulcasting Senator Jack
Entropys California Reunification
Day concert from Hollywood.
Horizon will be offering its
new VR game Independent Stars
along with a six-month subscription
free all day.
Knight Errant and Lone Star
are offering self-defense and home
security courses for free in July
starting on the 4th.
Remember to follow all

fireworks whether real or virtual.
PacCoast Tour starts Friday
The PacCoast Tour, a
bicycle race from Seattle to San
Francisco begins this Friday at 8am.
Well over 300 riders are expected to
participate in the multi-day event.
Since the Tour restarted in
2053, the Tir Tairngire national team has
dominated the top spots but the US and
the Horizon teams have been very
successful in the last two races and the
competition will be fierce.
