2) The project should preferably be a live company project in International Business and must
involve field work. The end term project carries 100 marks.
3) All students are required to submit the Project Proposal personally, intermediate reports and final
report as per the following schedule. Marks for each submission / activity are mentioned against
the same:

The proposal should be typed in, not more than three pages, single spacing, Times New Roman,
12 font size. The proposal will be reviewed by Program Coordinator PGDM (IB) for clarity of the
topic, scope, proposed methodology and the expected outcome. The final proposal should be
submitted in duplicate, one copy duly approved by the guide will be retained by the guide and the
other copy duly signed by the guide will be returned to the student.

The End Term Project is a comprehensive capstone project and must involve fieldwork. It tests the application of aggregate
learning of the management subjects, especially in the various facets of International Business. It aims at helping the students
develop skills in information planning, gathering, compiling, analysis, interpretation and application to the live situation in a
company. As part of this project, students are expected to select a live problem of a company and apply their learning to suggest
implementable solutions.
1. The final document for the End Term Project should not exceed 15 pages (1.5 spacing, 12 font size in times new roman
font, one inch margins on all sides). Appendices, graphs, brochures, data sheets, questionnaires, and Bibliography are not
included in the page limit.
Evaluation Criteria
1. Appropriateness (including clarity and precision) in the specification of issue selected for being examined / resolved
2. Appropriateness of literature /research review in terms of the relevance and comprehensiveness of the literature base /
researches covered
3. Appropriateness of evaluation and integration of the substantive contents covered in the literature review /
4. Selection of methods and data analysis tools where relevant
5. Use of academic concepts
6. Innovative / out of box thinking
7. Implementability
8. Reporting of results / conclusions
9. Recommendations
10. Appropriate use of language tools such as grammar, spell check and quality of report formatting.
Academic Integrity
1. This course looks for high standard of academic integrity from students. Improper referencing / copying directly from any
source / non acknowledgement of source will incur strict penalty.
2. Students may approach any faculty for clarification regarding referencing / acknowledgement issues.
