Reflection
It is seen throughout La Salles life that he lived with the poor, cared much for
them and left whatever status he had in exchange for his vision of a radical change of the
educational system in France during his time. The challenges that he faced just to invent the
classroom type of instruction and write several manuscripts did not affect him to pursue his
vision, which is a heroic act on itself.
His life is an inspiration to help the last, the least and the lost. Education is not
the only way that Lasallians can contribute to the society, but even in every small deed such as
giving donations to those who are in need, lending a hand during relief operations and sharing
our knowledge to others so that others will be inspired toward excellence. It is a good starting
point for every Lasallian to be encouraged to participate in activities that help the least in our
society such as outreach programs.
St. La Salles efforts of introducing the classroom type of education made it
possible to collaborate and exchange experiences and vital information with other students. This
encourages every student to
