Gents Industrial Safety Shoes, black colour, high ankle, light
weight, Double density DIP/DPP PU sole
Confirming to IS 15298 PART II:2011 & ISI Marked
Detailed specification as below.
A) Black colour full grain Leather of uniform thickness of 1.8-2.2 mm,
confirming to IS for tensile strength, water & oil resistance, chrome
contents, flexing resistance, etc.
B) Collar & tongue black printed lather/rexine of 1.1 - 1.4 mm
thickness.
C) High ankle with padded collar for extra comfort,
D) Strong round nylon laces, 100 cms long, black colour, to meet
minimum requirements of IS.
E) 'D' ring chrome plated steel or stainless steel to meet minimum
requirements of IS.
F)Directly Injection Process molded type, Double density PU sole to
meet minimum requirements of Tensile Strength, Elongation, Heat
resistance, Water resistance, Chemical resistance, Oil resistance,
Electrical resistance, Flexing resistance, Abrasion resistance, Antiskid
/ Antistatic and nail-free.
G) Steel insole plate to protect from penetration of sharp objects

steel toe metal cap, soft black lining, Single density PU sole, antistatic,

The mentioned sizes are tentative and actual supply will be as per

-: Special Terms & Conditions:-

Procurement of Industrial Safety Shoes

1. Offer from Manufacturers, Authorised dealers, will only be considered for opening of price bid. For
authorised dealers, they should submit current authorization letter from manufacturer to quote in this
tender, in original, along with the technical bid, otherwise offer will be liable for rejection.
2. The bidder must submit all the documents/certificates asked with this tender to this office along with
the Technical Bid, otherwise the offer will be outrightly rejected.
3. Offer should be valid for 180 days & thereafter also it will be treated valid until withdrawal by the
tenderer in writing.
4. Rates should be on firm basis till execution of the order (Please read delivery schedule). Offer with
price variation clause will not be considered.
5. Safety Shoes will be accepted at the Major Stores Khaperkheda TPS, in the manufacturers original
packing only in sealed condition directly dispatched from the manufacturer.
6. Sample of shoe size no.7 (for gents) & size no.5 (for ladies) only should be submitted along with the
Technical bid. Offer without sample will be outrightly rejected. Price bid of those bidders will be
opened, if the submitted sample satisfy the specifications. Order will be placed on L-1 rates on the
basis of sample approval if bidder found technically qualified.
7. Purchase order will be awarded on overall lowest basis for Annexure A and Annexure
Bseparately . Item wise lowest will not be considered, to have uniform supply.
8. Material to be tested & recent certificates should be submitted to this office along with the Technical
Bid, otherwise the offer will be outrightly rejected.
Please read TECHNICAL EVALUATION SHEET B.
The same certificates will have to be submitted at the time of bulk supply, for the lot which will
be supplied against order.
9. Sample of all types of safety shoes in all sizes should be submitted after placement of order within 15
days for confirmation of sizes, before bulk supply. This quantity will be part of order quantity.
10. Material will have to be supplied in two lots as below. However, total quantity of order remains
unchanged.
Lot PERCENTAGE DELIVERY
Ist Lot 80% of each size quantity in first Within 60 days from conformation of sizes after
lot placement of order by email
IInd Lot
20% quantity second lot Within 30 days immediately after size wise
quantity conformation by safety officer, KPKD
TPS, so as to compensate the change in sizes, if

11. Delivery of the Ist lot material should be within 60 days from the date of receipt of the order and IInd lot
within 30 days from the date of intimation. Change in sizewise quantity may be there for IInd lot supply.
Also, the supplier will be bound to supply either bigger or smaller size of the shoe in case of any size
issue on the same rates as that of P.O. without imposing any additional charges.
12. Security deposit will be released after completion of IInd lot supply.
13. Guarantee for manufacturing defects & defects developed during use should be given along with the
Technical Bid for the period of minimum 24 months after approval of material at major Stores B.
14. Safety Shoes must be of fresh stock & free from any defect /wrinkles / poor material quality/ twist/
improper fitting/ mismatched pairs etc.
15. In case of dealers, after placement of order, the dealer should inform to the manufacturer and should get
conformation from the manufacturer regarding supply of ordered quantity of the Safety Shoes well
within the period & should submit the copy of the same to this office within 15 days from the date of
order. Safety Shoes should be directly supplied from the manufacturer to Major Stores "B"
Khaperkheda, sealed packing alongwith packing slip / delivery memo of the manufacturer for which
order is placed.
16. In case of any defect found, while inspection at major stores "B, or during issue, that lot will have to be
replaced immediately with material specified in Schedule "A" within 15 days from the date of
information & within due period of supply, without any extra financial implications to KPKD TPS
MSPGCL.
17. Failing to replace the defective Safety Shoes, security deposit may be liable to forfeiture.
18. Payment will be released after inspection and receipt of GR note from Major Stores "B" Khaperkheda.
19. Payment will be released in two parts, (i) completion of Ist lot supply (ii) completion of IInd lot supply.
20. Conditional / advance payment terms will not be considered. Offer with bank through payment term
will not be considered.
