Sound Production. Our award winning teachers

In this diploma course you will learn the
technical or managerial competencies needed
to plan, carry out, and evaluate your own
work and/or that of a team. You will develop
specialist expertise and learn to exercise music
knowledge and artistic judgement. From the
specialist elective units you can learn to plan,
develop and implement audio/sound design and
sound recordings. You will operate and maintain
a variety of sound recording, production and
playback equipment. From the other elective
units you can develop ICT/digital, rigging,
post-production, project management and
business skill for a career in the music and
creative arts industries.

In this specialist certificate course, you will learn to
develop skills and a broad knowledge base in music
performance and sound production. From mixing
live audio and operating stage monitor systems to
editing sound and dialogue, you will learn how to apply

and provide leadership and guidance to other

exciting business career? The Certificate III in Music
Industry (Music Business) is a nationally-recognised
course for people who would like a business career
in the music industry. In this course you will receive
training and guidance in the inner workings of the
music industry, as well as practical musicianship
and an introduction to a broad cross section of
different music technologies. And youll be learning
from industry experts which means the most up-
to-date practices, policies and ideas will be taught.
The course includes electives that cover areas
such as administering bookings for rehearsals and
performances, analyzing soundtracks, applying
knowledge of style and genre to music industry
practice, authoring interactive sequences, complying
with regulatory, taxation and insurance requirements
for the micro business and coordinating on-site event
registrations. The Certificate III in Music Industry
(Music Business) can qualify you for a range of roles
including Assistant Sound Manager, Assistant Sound
Mixer and Band Member.

(Performance) is a nationally-recognised course for

In this course you will learn the necessary skills to

styles and genres in an ever-expanding repertoire.

means the most up-to-date practices, policies and
ideas will be taught. The course includes electives
that cover areas such as administering artists
royalty income, analyzing consumer behavior for
specific international markets, compiling music for
soundtracks, composing music using electronic
media, coordinating touring arrangements, editing
dialogue and sound and implementing and monitoring
marketing activities. The Diploma of Music Industry
(Performance) can qualify you for a range of roles
including Assistant Sound Engineer, Composer and
Music Teacher (Private Tuition).
