Target Market: Millennials

Secondary Research

Millennials make up one-third of the population in the Philippines. Not only that they are the working force
but they are also the customers.

Millennials value experiences over owning things - travel, charity, entrepreneurship and passions. This is
why their spending is more of services rather than goods.

Millennials are also the first generation to embrace freelancing. According to Time, millennials have a
mantra of Challenge convention. This means that millennials seek to find better ways of doing things.

According to a study, the number of freelancers within the Philippines increased by roughly 77 percent
from 2014-2015. Unsurprisingly, a large percentage of this demographic are young people or the
millennials.

Websites such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter have enabled millennials to connect with potential
clients around the world and provide digital services remotely. For example, coding, designing, writing
and marketing are all very attractive careers on the freelance market.

Millennials also expressed by far the most confidence about this new way of working, with 82% of young
freelancers saying theyre optimistic about the future of freelancing.

willing to do.
Art and design (graphic designing, photography, videography and photo and video-editing) is the
