PROBLEM

The excess of students in the classroom

Before the official survey, we wanted to know a real problem for the students,

we thought of some options to choose a real problem, these are:

Excess of students

Few English course

Is time of classes sufficient?

THE
PROBLEM

Figure 1
Based on the interviews we did, one solution or the one that was most repeated

among the respondents was to build more buildings or classrooms in order to

reduce the number of students per classroom. Classrooms will be built with

technology to facilitate student learning. The number of students will be

distributed so that only if the courses are filled will the number of students be

exceeded, but in a limited space. A classroom with a quiet atmosphere, will

always give good results. If these proposals are made, students will be satisfied

and will improve their grades. With respect to the new classrooms, if they were

built they would be close to the current classrooms, so that distance does not

become a problem.

Let us hope that these proposals are communicated to the authorities and

become reality for the sake of the students. As we see in the charts below, it will

be a benefit for everyone, as many are dissatisfied with the distribution of

students at CELEX.

In conclusion, there are several problems in CELEX that cause that the student

does not see to the subject like necessary of learning but rather like obligation to

approve it. The possible solution if we were interested would be to build more

classrooms in CELEX area. It is expected that things will improve in the area of

English and our proposals will be heard.
