DESCRIPTION:
SOCIETE GENERAL is a French multinational banking and financial service company headquartered in
Paris. It has divisions supporting French networks, Global transaction banking, International Retail
Banking, Corporate and Investment banking.

I am supporting Global Transaction Banking through BANCS application. This application is developed
by TCS and we are using its payment service. During EOD every transaction is reconciled at PSGL
which is a global level tool. Since PSGL accept files which are processed in BANCS, thats why our
clients want their files to be integrated in BANCS. I am part of RLB team. RLB is the application
developed by SOCIETE GENERAL itself. It is the channel through which we receive all the files and
messages from the partner application like SRG, RDJ, PSEXP, and ISBNET and convert them to BANCS
understandable format. We are responsible for monitoring the server health check, scheduling batch
jobs through Crontab and monitoring the same. We are also addressing the incidents/tickets raised by
users through Remedy tool.
Roles and Responsibility:

Handling day to day issue related to application and production


Monitoring the daily jobs and trouble shoot the failed jobs
Collaborating with the developers for bug fixing
Identify the repeated issue and create problem ticket for code level fixing
Analyzing job history for failed jobs, and resolving the same
Involved in Application Health check monitoring
Support According to SLA
Recover the error details from SPOOL and log details
Perform daily health checks of the application on production environment
Collaborating with different TCs of different teams
Raise tickets for critical issues
Resolve the issue which are in our Scope
Resolve issues related tickets based on the priority, Monitor and Resolve P1/P2/P3 as per SLA period.
Manual Catch-up to bring the batch on time
Escalate to L3 whenever needed by mails or Tickets
Responsible for providing 24*7 support
Responsible for sending Daily and Weekly reports to Vendors, Collaborating with clients on regular basis
