Project Management System

Abstract
Project Management System will look after the time and investment which will involve during
the development of new projects and ongoing projects. It look for various phases which are
involved under entire development work such as analysis, system design, coding, testing and
maintenance work etc. Time and money both are important factor for any organization in exist
in the market and for it, they have to keep catchy eye on every bit of their investment. This
system will keep track of invested time on particular phase and generate reports to make
future analysis and take appropriate action to settle down the problem.

Existing System
Present system always facing time problem during their development work by which there exist
extra investment and sometimes losing their markets due to criticism. All the works were
maintained on using manual file by which it creates difficulties for the organization to prepare
reports on projects. Its difficult by the managers to keep track on projects which are working in
different teams and take immediate action to complete the projects within stipulated time.
Manual system not able to provide alerts and notification for the important ones based on their
maximum time involved and current status along with predictions for their deadlines.

Proposed System
The important factor which will be considered in this new system is time. Before starting any
new project, its manager can set the deadline time and date and through alert settings, the
system will able to notify its team members and managers before one week. With the help of
this, they can check their project stratus and take necessary actions if required. System will also
able to categorize the particular projects upon different modules and have look on them as and
when required. This system will also able to provide the list of employees who are involved in
particular project for particular module and time involved in development work. Through its
built in report builder section, it can prepare the clear picture of time invested on different level
of projects.

Interface Module:-
A common interface module to interact with this system. There will be three types of user
Admin, Managers and Employees. During login, they have to just their user type and validation,
they can access their panel and begin their work.
Project Scheduling Module:-
Project scheduling will help the managers and admin to set the start date and end date of
particular project. It will also able them to keep eye on going projects and review the
information of such projects.
Activity Module:-
Activity module will act as an attendance sheet for working employees on particular project. It
will provide admin with following details like, last login time, date and time to be completed for
particular module on specific project, last activity status etc.
Assignment Module:-
Through assignment module, it will help the managers and admin to assign new projects and
instruction to work on which module for their employees. Admin can also restrict the
employees to access another modules of a project.
