If the original control board is configured with daughter boards, configure the same
daughter boards on the new control board before the replacement.
Do not touch the surface of the circuit board.
Ensure that the short-circuit caused by metallic objects do not occur during the operation.
For example, ensure that the operation tools are placed properly, or the screws do not drop
into the shelf.
Insert the boards along the guide rail so that the boards can accurately interconnect with
the backplane.
Recommended Tools
Preparations
NOTE:
If the control board does not work, the preparations of N2000 BMS and command lines are
not required.
If the on-site maintenance engineers cooperate with the N2000 BMS administrator to
complete the replacement, start from the procedure 8 on the site if the operations on the
N2000 BMS side are complete.
If the on-site maintenance engineers cooperate with the system maintenance engineers to
complete the replacement, start from the procedure 1 on the site. You need not pay
attention to the operations on the N2000 BMS side.
NOTE: Then, perform the following steps to check whether the version and patch
file of the new control board are consistent with those of the original board.
If they are not consistent, you are advised to load the version and patch file
of the original board and new board in the laboratory to keep them
consistent and then perform the replacement on the site. For the loading
method, see the upgrade guide of the related version.
2. Run the display version and display language commands to query and record the
information on the board version. For example, to query the type of the control
board in slot 0/7, run the following commands:
NOTE:
You can run the display language command to query the specific version of the
host.

screws on the front panel (two screws on the upper part of the front panel and two screws
on the lower part of the front panel).
12. Install the board whose daughter board is replaced. For details about the operations, see
step 8 through step 10 of the operation procedure in Replacing a Single Control Board.
Postrequisites
After the replacement, you need to verify the replacement on site and on the N2000 BMS.
NOTE: A few minutes (less than 10 minutes) are required for the board to work in the normal
state after it is started.
2. In common user mode, run the display board command to check the status of the
board and the type of the daughter board.
If the status of the active control board is "Active_Normal", you can infer
that the active control board works normally.
If the status of the standby control board is "Standby_Normal", you can
infer that the standby control board works normally.
If the status of an interface board or a service board is "Normal", you can
infer that the interface board or the service board works normally.
In the query result, if the displayed daughter board type is the same as the type of
the new daughter board, you can infer that the status of the daughter board is
normal. For example, the command for querying the status of the board in slot 0/7
and the type of the daughter board on the board in slot 0/7 is as follows:
3. Query the alarms and performance events of the system and ensure that there is
no new abnormal alarm and performance event.
4. Check that the services carried by the board are normal.
The operations on N2000 BMS are as follows:
1. Log in to the N2000 BMS, and then select the device to be queried in the device
navigation tree or on the topology view.
2. Right-click the device and choose Device Panel from the shortcut menu. The
Device Panel window is displayed.
3. In the information list, select the board to be queried.
4. Check the status of the board and the type of the daughter board on the Board
Detail Info tab page. If the status of the board is normal, and if the information
about the new daughter board is displayed, you can infer the daughter board
replacement is successful.
The MA5600 system contains the database file and the configuration file. During the reboot of the
MA5600, system data is recovered through the database file by default.
If the configuration file is modified offline and loaded back to the device, you need to activate the
configuration file by running the active configuration command so that the configuration file can
take effect. After the command is executed, the device is rebooted automatically. During the reboot,
the system configuration is restored through the configuration file instead of the database file. Thus,
the modified configuration file takes effect.
