Mandatory Major Courses: 9 credits D. Elective Courses: at least 9credits (At least 3 credits must be from GT courses.) E. Research: at least 12 credits including 2 seminar credits (foreign students may elect 2-credit MS thesis replacing seminars.)

Research: at least 30 credits including 2 seminar credits (foreign students may elect 2-credit Ph.D.thesis replacing seminars.)
The Course Credits earned in the Master's course work can be used towards the Doctoral degree (except research credits)
