Soln: Find numbers that add to 42 using the highest powers of 2 available.
Highest available is power 5 32
42= 32 + ?(10) need another 10 = 8 + 2 (23+21)
42 = 25 + 23+21
As a binary number this is 101010 the zeros mean there is no 24 , 22 or 20 needed to make up 42
