LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
By the end of this lesson students will mix primary colors to create secondary colors, and
create a Turtle Color Wheel.

LESSON TIMELINE:
2 minutes-Greet class and settle students at seats
1 minute- Assemble students around center instruction table
5 minutes- Review painting procedures, color mixing and show completed example
assignment.
1 minute- Students return to desks
4 minutes- Teacher distributes individual painting trays with all necessary supplies and

27 minutes- Students work on mixing colors and creating Turtle Color Wheels while
teacher facilitates
8 minutes- Teacher signals end of studio time and has students clean up by tables
1 minutes- Students return to desks
10 minutes- Teacher shows students completed works and guides discussion with
feedback
1 minutes-Students lined up and dismissed.
