    Trustees,

    We are forwarding the below and attached memorandum on behalf of Dr. Maldonado:

    The Administration has engaged special counsel to perform an internal review of several functional areas in Houston
    Community College System including:

    Procurement practices, policies and procedures;

    Employment/Personnel practices, policies and procedures;

    Facilities practices, policies and procedures;

    and related financial matters.


    Pursuant to this review, General Counsel will issue routine notices to various employee groups as related to their
    function.

    Please let me know if you have any questions on this matter. Further, please forward any questions you may
    receive on these notices to the Office of General Counsel.
