4.1 Introductory Activity Begin the lesson by having the children pick out patterns in the room.
Through this sharing activity, let the children explain what a pattern is?

*Clap and tap


Clap and tap a pattern for the pupils to follow:
clap, clap, tap, clap, clap, tap, clap, clap tap
Repeat the pattern at least three times to help students find/identify the next
action.

Ask volunteers do the Clap Clap Tap Pattern for other pupils to identify the
missing pattern or action.
