thatmayhaveaccumulatedinsidethehead.Itmaybenecessarytouseamachinistscribeorsimilar
pointedobjecttoloosenandvacuumoutanydirtthatmayberesidinginsidetheTorxheadsbefore
attemptingtoremove.

halfwayontotheshaft.UsethestockEatonM90Superchargerlocknuttoratchetthepulleydownthe
remaininglengthoftheshaftuntiltheAdapterhitsthestopontheshaft.Youmayalsowanttouseapress
ifyouhaveoneavailable.Itisrecommendedthatyouusealowtorquesettingonanairorelectric
hammerratchettosuckthepulleydowntothestop.Ifyoudonothaveanautomaticratchet,youmay
carefullyuseapieceofsoftlumbertostopthemotionofthesuperchargerrotors.Thiswillallowyouto
ratchetdownthesuperchargerlocknutwithastandardratchet.Caution:Besurethatnodebrisfallsinto

alignmentofthesuperchargerpulleybeforetighteningthebolts).

PlaceandaligntheEatonM90SuperchargerandPlenumTopPlateAssemblyontothePlenumBasePlate.
Visuallyinspectthealignmentofthesuperchargerpulleyandtheotherenginepulleys.Amissalignmentof
approximately1/16isacceptableduetothelengthofpulleytotheadjacentpulleysandthelackofribs
ontheidlerpulley.Ifthealignmentofyourpulleyismorethanapproximately1/16,youcanfinetunethe
alignmentofthePlenumBasePlate.SimplyadjustthePlenumBottomPlateasrequired(theyarefitted
withslottedholes)andtorqueitdowntotheEngineBlock.
LocatetheHVACHeaterHoses(2x1/4diameter)thatwereremovedfromtheHoseConnectorFittingand
theIntakeManifoldinapreviousstep.ThehosesneedtobereconnectedtotheHoseConnectorFittingin
anewlocationapproximately3abovetherearpassengersideInletPortontheengineblock(InletPortto
combustionchamber).Reviewtheillustrationbelowforreference.

theIntakeManifold.Referencethephotobelowandproceedtocutthe5/8plastictube.Usetheprovided
pieceof5/8hose(9length)andconnectoneendtothe5/8plasticlineandtheothertotheHose
ConnectorFitting.Securebothendsofthehosewithahoseclamp.
