My previous experience was an International Assignment of Project Manager (DIPECHO VII) within the Agha Khan
Development Network (AKDN) with FOCUS International (US) in Tajikistan. I have been a core team member of the
Strengthening of Monitoring and Evaluation Project under the Planning and Development (P&D) Department of the
Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. I am well acquainted with computers using MS Project for project designs and work
plans, MS Excel for Financial Analysis and Budgeting and SPSS for Data Analysis and Reporting. I have well-developed
analytical and planning skills.
Areas of expertise include: Programme Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation, Impact, Damage, Need and Vulnerability
Assessments, Disaster Management and Emergency Planning with more than 11 years of intensive field experience in
emergencies. Worked as volunteer with a non-profit in Oregon (USA). Able to demonstrate understanding and experience of
mainstreaming issues around gender, persons with disabilities and ageing in DRR activities.
I have full-time association with the Society for Sports Promotion (SSP), which is a non-profit agency that provides assistance
in sporting events and disaster preparedness and linking sports with emergency response and preparedness.

CARE works in some of the most remote and logistically challenging areas of Pakistan to address the underlying causes of
poverty, with special focus on women, children and the most marginalized people. It works in Health, Education, Psychosocial
Support, Water and Sanitation, Livelihoods, Economic Development and Disaster Management and Emergency Response.
The project focuses on institutional building in community resilience and advocating on secure funding for DRR activities in the
Governments Annual Development Plans (ADPs).
Coordination of Project Activities within the Civil Alliance for Disaster Resilience (CADR) consortium
Lead review meetings of member agencies and implementing partners to track progress and make adjustments
Identify gaps, under-performance and work with consortium partners for improvement and course correction
Produce and submit high quality donor reports as per DIPECHO guidelines including project completion report
Effectively represent CARE in Pakistan (CIP) at different forums/ levels (society, DM Authorities, line departments etc.)
Organize and facilitate periodic coordination meetings to review budget through BvAs and progress against activities
Develop ToRs for various assignments such as Study on DRR in Urban Context, Project Evaluation, Advocacy for DRR
initiatives and budget lines in ADP, Pre/ Post KAP surveys etc.
