Importance of technology:
After students create their video, they will be part of the lesson and will be 100% engaged in their learning
experience and they will be the owner of their creator (video). Creating their own video will be more
engaging and motivating to students. Students could demonstrate their knowledge using Geogebra for
example:
When I will teach this content, I have to stimulate my student by telling them the contribution of Euclid to
geometry. When I introduce the concept of Pythagorean theorem I will use the method of Pythagoras to
prove the theorem. Consider the diameter as a hypothesis of a triangle and take any point in the
circumference of the circle. Using Geogebra, I will used the idea of Euclid how he measured the missing side
of a right triangle with my students: I will put them in groups and asked them to determine the missing sides
of various right triangles around them they can pick one of them or more and measure two known sides,
using Pythagorean theorem to derive the third side.

I will make sure that I have the proper parental consent before posting students work. I will discuss the
proper and safe use of search tools when looking for images, audio, and video.
