RE SUMMARY REPORT ON THE YOUNG CLERGY

ON-GOING FORMATION PROGRAM

_____________________________________________________________________________

The Young Clergy of Ozamis Archdiocese (composed mainly of

Diocesan and Vincentian priests who are ten years below in the ministry),
after the Clergy Annual Retreat held in Alfonso, Cavite, unanimously
decided to continue its annual on-going formation program which
constitutes updating on Clergy spiritual and pastoral life, as well as
having recreation time together away from the bustle of pastoral work for
a while. It has been decided that the activity would take place in Surigao
City, Philippines.

On November 24 26, 2016, 12 Young Clergy namely: Frs. Fernando

Aguilar, Regidor Abalde, Rolly Lagada, Jezon Panaguiton, Daryl Rosales,
Lhem Naval, Giovani Canete, Sandy Cometa, Danny Rudinas, Juniber
Roma, Elias Tabuco, and Kit Torayno, CM, attended the said program. The
Facilitator cum Program Companion was the Very Rev. Fr. Mamerto
Dolera, from the Diocese of Dipolog, concurrently, Spiritual Director of
Saint Marys Theologate, the Regional Theological Seminary of the
Ecclesiastical Province of Ozamis.

On Day 1 (November 25) Fr. Dolera talked about the importance of

the Gift of Celibacy, Sacerdotal Fraternity and the Spirituality of Priests
working in the Diocese as well as in the Basic Ecclesial Communities. We
had our personal sharing done in group. We culminated the whole day
activity with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist. On day 2 (November
26) the Young Clergy went to the Hinatuan Enchanted River for our
recreation time. The team went home to the archdiocese bringing
experiences, inputs, and renewed strength necessary for the ministry.

The group expresses heartfelt gratitude to the funding it received

from Church in Need through the facilitation of the Chancery Office.
Attached herewith is the financial report and other documents
appurtenant thereto.
