May 1981 to Present Petroleum Engineering Consultant and President of Petrotech


Engineering Ltd. in Burnaby, B. C.

The Company performs independent engineering and economic evaluation of domestic and
international, onshore and offshore oil and gas properties and related production and processing
facilities including geological and reservoir studies, drilling including horizontal wells,
completion, production, stimulation prognosis of oil and gas wells, wellhead and waterflood
injection facilities, gas processing plants, compressor and pump stations, and pipeline systems.
Some of the evaluations are being used by junior public companies for filing of statement of
material facts and prospectuses to the Provincial Securities Commissions, Stock Exchanges, the
United States Securities and Exchange Commission, and banking institutions. The international
work experience included countries in Nicaragua, Guatemala, Colombia, Peru, Argentina, New
Zealand, Australia, Indonesia, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Russian Federation, Kazakhstan,
Cameroon, Namibia, Ghana, and Morocco. In June, 1991, the Company acts as the petroleum
consultant for the British Columbia Securities Commission in reviewing oil and gas evaluations
relating to public issuers seeking preliminary prospectuses or re-activation and reviewing of
continuous disclosure documents on oil and gas related activities by public companies. In
March, 2002, the Company also acts as the petroleum consultant for the Ontario Securities
Commission and the Toronto Stock Exchange.

I was a full-time instructor who was responsible to teach a two-year diploma course in petroleum
engineering technology to first and second year students. My petroleum courses were reservoir
fluids, design of drilling and completion programs, electric log evaluation, design of production
equipment and facilities, reservoir evaluation, petroleum sketching, design of gas processing
plant, crude oil refining methods, and unit operations of various heat exchangers, evaporators,
distillation and cooling towers. I also attended a study course in instructional development at the
Learning Resources Unit.

October 1988 to May 1989 Vice-President and Director of Veronex Resources Ltd. in
Vancouver, B. C.

Veronex Resources Ltd. is an international natural resource public company with oil and gas
producing properties in Indonesia and U. S. A., a gold mine in British Columbia, and potential
interests of forestry products in Indonesia. My work was to oversee the engineering and
production of the Company's oil and gas properties in Indonesia, Alberta, Saskatchewan and
Wyoming together with the evaluation of potential oil and gas property acquisitions.

June 1979 to April 1981 Engineering Specialist at CanOcean Resources Ltd. (formerly
Lockheed Petroleum Services Ltd. until July 1980) in New Westminster, B. C.

My work was involved in the design of offshore oil and gas production facilities including
subsea completion procedures, subsea manifold centres, subsea wellhead and flowlines, platform
production equipment and subsea pipelines. CanOcean Resources have designed and installed
subsea production facilities in the Gulf of Mexico, North Sea and the Garoupa field in offshore
Brazil. I also served as a WORLD BANK consultant in oil and gas regulations and policies to
the Government of Nicaragua in 1980.

June 1977 to June 1979 Production and Transmission Engineer at Northwestern Utilities
Limited in Edmonton, Alberta.

Northwestern Utilities Limited is a public gas utilities Company operating in central and
northern Alberta. My work was involved in the design and installation of gas production and
transmission facilities in one of the biggest gas fields (Viking-Kinsella) in Alberta and some
smaller gas fields in central Alberta. The production work also involved in the drilling and
completion of gas wells, reservoir studies, well testing and evaluations.

August 1975 to June 1977 Project Engineer at Reintjes Engineering Ltd. in Edmonton,
Alberta

The company is a petroleum consulting engineering firm which provides oil field equipment
design and installation of pipeline systems, gas processing and compression facilities, wellhead,
tank battery facilities and pump stations. My work was involved in all the above design and
installations including cost estimates, procurement, supervision of construction and start-up.

June 1974 to July 1975 Maritime Engineer in the Canadian Armed Forces, Victoria, B. C.

I was a naval lieutenant in the Maritime Engineering Branch and served onboard HMCS
Saskatchewan in the marine engineering department. My work was involved in steam
generation, propulsion, maintenance of machinery, administrative and naval duties. With the
experience in operating the boiler and engine rooms, I also earned a fourth class steam ticket.

April 1968 to April 1978 Canadian Armed Forces (Militia), Edmonton, Alberta.

I joined the Militia when I was in high school as a private and left as a major commanding an
artillery battery in the 20th Field Regiment. I also served as a troop commander on regular duty
as a captain with the First Regiment, Royal Canadian Horse Artillery of the 4 th Mechanized
Brigade in Lahr, Germany.
