VISION OF THE UNIVERSITY : A premier multidisciplinary-technological university.


MISSION OF THE UNIVERSITY : The University shall primarily provide advanced professional and technical instruction for special purposes, advanced studies in industrial
trade, agriculture, fishery, forestry, aeronautics, and land-based programs, arts and sciences, health sciences, information technology and other relevant fields of study. It shall
also undertake research and extension services, and provide progressive leadership in its areas of specialization.
GOALS OF THE COLLEGE : CAS aims at the integral development of the individual toward fullness as a human being through humanistic and scientific studies.

PROGRAM OUTCOMES : At the end of the course, the students shall be able to:

PO 6 Have a critical mind on how to become a politician that can govern and change the country to attain a certain level of political maturity that will pave the way towards
betterment and development and truly concerned of the welfare of the Filipino people.
PO 7 Appreciate the political dynamics prevailing in the country.
PO 8 Become involved and active participant in the political affairs of the country
PO 9 Become active and effective participants in nation building.

COURSE DESCRIPTION :
This course will lead the way to the understanding of current human rights issues in the Philippines.

COURSE LEARNING OUTCOMES :

CO1 Have a comprehensive view and clear understanding of the Concept of Human Rights, its inception and history.
CO2 Know and understand the different treaties and agreement entered by the state to protect human right.
CO3 Understand the importance of Protection of human Rights.
CO4 Realize the individual rights and universality of human rights.
CO5 Determine human rights violation vis--vis protection of individual rights.
CO6 Differentiate different forms of human rights violations
CO7 Have a vast view and understanding of human rights, human rights violations, laws and current issues related thereto.
