Objectives of Activity
Promote inter-patrol bonding (Camp D., Festival of Light, Combined Cooking) +
reduced emphasis on maintaining standards
Foster healthy competition between patrols in terms of their camp development and
orienteering activity (Patrol-In-Town)
Provide platform for Junior Leadership to take place in pursuit of common goals - allow
for opportunities to let Sec 2s to gain experience and step up

Reporting
All injuries to be reported via 01 Scouts GC 2017 WhatsApp group
Moderate-Severe injuries to be reported immediately via radio
Treatment
Mild injuries: To be treated on-site by First Aid I/C(s)s. Casualty may be
advised to sit out of next activity
Moderate-Severe Injuries: either a. evacuation to GC room for further
treatment or b. treatment on-site if evacuation is not permissible
Severe Injuries: Teachers to be consulted via radio on the next course of
action
Pioneering (GCs-on-duty)
Helmets are to be worn by Scouts in the vicinity of any erected
structure
A spotter should be present if a Scout is climbing a ladder
No slippers/sandals are to be worn during pioneering or any other
activity (only allowed during Wash up onwards)(see section: Night
Procedures)
All equipment are to be placed back neatly in their proper positions
when not in use
When dismantling structures, no poles are to be thrown down
During Activites
Wet weather plan to be carried out
Fire (STLs)
GC-on-duty to radio teacher-on-duty and all GC
Scouts are to fall in at the soccer field
PLs to perform head count and report to STLs
STLs will radio teacher-on-duty to update attendance
Scouts are not to leave the soccer field
Only GC and teachers are to search for missing scouts
Cooked meals
2 Scouts per patrol are to report to the GC Room 2 hours before
mealtimes
2 Scouts per patrol will be returned their valuables and will be
accompanied by Food I/C(s) to purchase ingredients at nearby
supermarket
Ingredients for breakfasts are to be purchased together with the
ingredients for dinner on the previous day
Receipts to be labelled clearly with patrol name and total amount to be
claimed and passed to Food I/C(s) promptly after purchases
Valuables to be returned to Food I/C(s) immediately upon returning to
campsite
