 INSTRUCTIONS TO THE CANDIDATES

1. Take a print of Admit Card (preferably in colour) and bring it to the exam hall.
2. Please paste a Self Attested Photograph similar to the one submitted in the Online Application form
in the space given in the Admit Card. While attesting the photograph, please take due care to avoid
signing on the face of the candidate in the photograph.
3. Please show Admit card along with a valid photo identity (ID of College, Passport, Driving License,
Aadhaar Card, PAN Card, Voters ID Card) to the officer supervising the examination. A candidate
without a valid Admit Card will be debarred from appearing in the examination.
4. Please bring your own blue/ black ballpoint pen and clipboard (with nothing written or
pasted on it).
5. Violation of any instruction and adoption of unfair means in the examination shall render a
candidate liable for cancellation of his/her script and forfeiture of his/her claim for admission.
Decision of the SIO of the examination centre shall be final and binding.
6. If a candidate is found in possession of textual material, correction pen/ fluid, docu-pen,
mobile phone, calculator, log tables, Personal Digital Assistant, pager, electronic watch
(with facilities of calculator, camera, scanner etc) or any other device or document
within the AFCAT exam centre premises, his/ her candidature will be cancelled and he/
she will not be allowed to appear in the exam. No provision will be made at the exam
centre for safe custody of prohibited items.
7. Please make own arrangements for conveyance. No TA/DA or any kind of allowance will be paid to
candidates for appearing in the test.
8. Request for change of exam centre will not be entertained.
9. Issue of this Card does not necessarily mean acceptance of eligibility, which will be further
scrutinized at subsequent stages of selection.
10. Please strictly adhere to the time of reporting mentioned in the Admit Card. Candidates reporting to
the exam centre after the mentioned time will NOT be permitted to enter the examination hall.
11. Please go through the instructions thoroughly in the OMR sheet before commencement of the test.
12. Please ensure that the AFCAT number, Booklet series and Date of Birth are bubbled/
shaded properly, failure of which shall result in cancellation of candidature.
13. For EKT candidates only: AFCAT paper (Session-I) is mandatory for all including EKT
candidates. In the EKT, please attempt only the question paper of the stream mentioned
in the Admit Card, or else the EKT answer sheet will not be evaluated.
14. Candidates will not be allowed to leave the exam hall before the completion of the AFCAT/EKT (as
applicable).
15. Please preserve original Admit Card duly signed by SIO/IO of exam centre carefully for
presentation at the time of testing at Air Force Selection Board (short listed candidates
only).
