The connection with the computer program (trough Win distributor) is done with the nine
pins connector (DB9) of the PP. It can be done in two ways:

1- Trough the card encoder (HT22 system)

With the connector cable HTCOM (CB22485). The cable must be connected to the
HTCOM DB9 female connector of the HT22 and DB9 female connector of the PP.

5. MAINTENANCE

5.1. Replacing the batteries

The only maintenance needed for the portable programmer is to change the batteries
when they are low.
To replace the batteries you need to remove the battery cover in the back part of the
programmer, remove the old ones and insert the new being careful to observe the
correct polarity.

Warning: The batteries contain contaminant materials for the environment. Fulfilling the
European guideline 2006/66/CE, we remark that, once the life of the batteries has
finished, they must be throw away in the qualified points for their collection o returning
them to the battery distributor. Dont throw away to the common garbage.

The PP uses four alkaline batteries of 1,5 V, type LR6 (the same batteries of the lock)
The batteries live will be up to 50 hours operating ( approximately up to 3.000 of
communications with the locks.

The advisable batteries to use are the following:

o Varta Industrial Alkaline 4006

o Energizer Industrial Alkaline 2010
o SunLight Super Alkaline
o Panasonic Plus Alkaline

To reduce the consumption of the batteries, the PP has an auto-switch off function. With
this function, the PP will turn off after 30 seconds of no operation.

The discharge of the batteries is detected when the contrast of the LCD display is falling
down.

Note: When the batteries of the PP are changed, the PP will lose the codes recorded in
its memory. Upload it again to use it.
