Dear Ms. Hiring Manager:

It is my pleasure to submit my application for the position of Program Coordinator at the
Secours Islamique France. As a professional with over 5 years of experience across a variety
sectors, I would bring a diverse set of skills and understanding of the international
development ecosystem to Secours Islamique France.

As you will see from the attached resume, Ive worked across actors in the development and
humanitarian landscape including UN institutions, Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation
(BMGF), Clinton Health Access Initiative (CHAI), US Department of State, the Government of
India (GoI), and NGOs and Im excited about the potential to work at the Secours Islamique
France. Throughout my career, I have been able to be impactful by bringing together my
expertise in innovation and analysis with practical program development, implementation,
and evaluation, most recently on global health programs with BMGF, CHAI, and the GoI.

As one of the first employees at Surgo, Ive had the opportunity to work across functional
areas to achieve the foundations mission. I gained expertise in all stages of managing
programs at scale, including the implementation of M&E systems and other project
management tools to ensure that agreed goals and grants are on track to be achieved. As a
donor partner, I directly provided technical assistance to grantees, such as identifying
additional insights from qualitative data, assisting in the design of quantitative studies and
presenting findings with interactive visualizations (Tableau) in ways that transform impact for
BMGFs maternal and child health program. As an implementing partner, I suggested
innovative approaches that drive outcomes, such as applying social network analysis
techniques to data collected from communication tools (WhatsApp) in order to effectively
map the patient-to-provider pathway for CHAIs tuberculosis program. From a data and
innovation perspective, I shaped Surgos data strategy by developing two relevant platforms:
1) Bottom of the Pyramid gamification tool to gather insights around social norms and
influence behavioral patterns of key beneficiaries; 2) Data Systems Mapping tool that allows
programs to evaluate and provide greater efficiency for their M&E systems.

Working at a new foundation has often required me to be comfortable with ambiguity,
embrace uncertainty, move with limited direction, and constantly learn new things. My
passion for improving the lives of marginalized peoples, complemented with my
entrepreneurial mindset to proactively solve challenges and bring solutions, will enable me
to thrive at the Secours Islamique France.
