Ss repeat after the teacher the new words about the parts of the body
Procedure:
1. Presentation: T informs Ss that they are going to talk about the parts of the body and asks
them to open their books at the respective page. T shows Ss some picture cards with different
parts of the body. T points and says the word in English. Ss listen and repeat after the T. T
may also draw the part of the body as she names it until she makes a complete body 10
minutes.
2. Controlled-practice: T asks Ss to look in their books and colour each part of the body as
the T names it. Ss repeat after the T and colour in the respective body part. After they finish
they raise their books above their heads and T gives each a sticker 15 minutes
Date: Weeks 4 - 10
Ss colour the numbers and the objects according to the teachers instructions
Procedure:
1. Presentation: T informs Ss that they are going to talk about numbers and colours and asks
them to open their books at the respective page. T shows Ss some picture cards with different
colours and the numbers from 1 to 10. T points and says the word in English. Ss listen and
repeat after the T. T may also write different numbers as she names them. Ss repeat after the
teacher 10 minutes.
* Some songs that the T used through these lessons were: Hokey Pokey; The Numbers Song;
The Colours Song (different versions, some asking Ss to perform some actions); The Wheels
on the Bus and those provided by the textbook.
