1. Disconnect the MPI buses, scrub and reload NCK & PLC again.

3. If you still dont have the 2 green lights and a 6, replace the NCU board.

Note: With older software, when loading the NCK you will see a yellow bar indicating the loading progress. With
the Software Load Tool (see chart below) you wont see the yellow bar. The important thing to look for when
loading the NCK is the four ECHO.RESETs. When it machine is loading ECHO2.RESET, the red LEDs on the
drives go out and stay out. If not then you may have:
1. Corrupt data coming from MMC to the NCU
2. Bad drive module

NT machines with TOS (i.e., TC 5/6000) Software Load Tool
BOF

Note: Important thing to look for when loading the PLC is the DOWNPLCFB30.PCL data entry. When it is
reloading, the speed of the yellow bar should go slowly, the process would take approximately 3 to 5 minutes.
When finished, the Power On key on the MSTT should blink, the Reference key should be steady and a
FEEDHOLD is present. PLC has been successfully reloaded.
