Guidelines and Grading Rubric Week 5
PURPOSE
The student will read research literature to determine the research purpose, question, design,
population, sample, limitations, data collection and analysis.

COURSE OUTCOMES
This assignment enables the student to meet the following course outcomes:
CO 2: Apply research principles to the interpretation of the content of published
research studies. (PO #4 and 8)
CO 4: Evaluate published nursing research for credibility and lab significance related to
evidence-based practice. (PO #4 and 8)
POINTS: This assignment is worth 225 points.
DUE DATE: Submit to the Reading Research Literature basket in the Dropbox by 11:59 p.m.
MT Sunday at the end of Week 5.
