Dome Cover

Be careful not to scratch, damage or leave fingerprints on the dome cover because this
could decrease image quality. If possible, keep the protective plastic on the dome cover
until the installation is complete.
Do not clean a dome cover that looks clean to the eye and never polish the surface.
Excessive cleaning could damage the surface.
For general cleaning of the dome cover it is recommended to use a non-abrasive,
solvent-free neutral soap or detergent mixed with pure water and a soft, clean cloth. Rinse
well with pure lukewarm water. Dry with a soft, clean cloth to prevent water spotting.
Never use harsh detergents, gasoline, benzene or acetone etc. and avoid cleaning the
dome cover in direct sunlight or at elevated temperatures.

connecting the product to the network and that are routed outdoors or in demanding
electrical environments shall be intended for their specific use. Make sure that the network
devices are installed in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. For information

Resetting the product to factory default settings. See page 13.

Install the Hardware

Note
If the camera module holder is mounted onto a hard ceiling such as metal or wood, the
metal camera module holder can be screwed onto the ceiling, and the springs can be
removed.
1. Drill a hole (7076 mm, 2.753 inches) in the ceiling to fit the cameras metal camera
module holder.
2. Remove the camera from the metal camera module holder.
3. Carefully push and set the three springs on the metal camera module holder back into
their slots.
4. Pull the network cable through the ceiling and through the cameras metal camera
module holder.
5. Insert the metal camera module holder through the ceiling. Ensure that Viewing area
marked on the rim of the cup faces the area that is to be monitored.
6. Fix the metal camera module holder into the ceiling. Insert an instrument such as a
screw driver into the metal camera module holder and release the springs so they clamp
down on the ceiling and hold the cup in place.

7. Attach the cable to the network connector (supports PoE class 1) in the camera. If PoE
is not supported by the network switch, use the supplied PoE midspan/power injector
to connect power to the AXIS M3014 Network Camera.
8. Check that the indicator LEDs indicate the correct conditions. For further details, see
LED Indicators on page 8 .
9. Align the camera arrow with the camera module holder arrow and insert the camera into
the metal camera module holder.
10. Turn the camera so that the camera arrow points to Viewing area marked on the rim of
the metal camera module holder.

Access the Product

AXIS IP Utility and AXIS Camera Management are recommended methods for finding Axis products
on the network and assigning them IP addresses in Windows. Both applications are free and can
be downloaded from www.axis.com/techsup
The product can be used with most operating systems and browsers. We recommend the following
browsers:
Internet Explorer with Windows

Safari with OS X
ChromeTM or Firefox with other operating systems.

Adjust the Lens

To adjust the position of the lens, follow these steps:
1. Open the Live View page in your web browser.

2. While checking the image in the Live View page, move the lens to the desired position.
Adjust the Focus

The focus of the AXIS M3014 Network Camera is set at the factory from 0.5 m to infinity. It does
not normally need adjustment. To focus on objects closer than 0.5 m, or if for some reason the
lens has lost focus, this can be adjusted in the following way:
1. Loosen the lens lock screw.

2. Manually rotate the lens to adjust the focus until the image on the Live View page
is satisfactory.
3. Gently retighten the lens lock screw.

Complete the Installation

Place the magnetic dome cover over the camera. Align the rivet holes.
The rivet holes can be covered with the plastic plugs provided.
If the dome needs to be secured, use the tamper-proof screws provided and screw the
dome on.
The installation is now complete.

Reset to Factory Default Settings

Important
Reset to factory default should be used with caution. A reset to factory default will reset
all settings, including the IP address, to the factory default values.

To reset the product to the factory default settings:
1. Disconnect power from the product.

2. Press and hold the control button and reconnect power. See Hardware Overview on
page 8 .
3. Keep the control button pressed for 1530 seconds until the status LED indicator flashes
amber.
4. Release the control button. The process is complete when the status LED indicator turns
green. The product has been reset to the factory default settings. If no DHCP server is
available on the network, the default IP address is 192.168.0.90
5. Using the installation and management software tools, assign an IP address, set the
password, and access the video stream.
It is also possible to reset parameters to factory default via the web interface. Go to Setup >
System Options > Maintenance and click Default.

Ne nettoyez pas le couvercle du dme s'il semble propre l'il nu et ne frottez jamais sa
surface. Un nettoyage excessif pourrait endommager la surface.
Pour le nettoyage gnral du couvercle du dme, il est recommand d'utiliser un produit
non abrasif, un savon neutre sans solvant ou un dtergent mlang avec de l'eau pure et
un chiffon doux propre. Rincez bien l'eau tide pure. Schez avec un chiffon doux et
propre pour viter les tches d'eau.

Le bouton de commande permet de raliser les oprations suivantes :

Installation du matriel
Note
Si le support du module de camra est mont sur un plafond dur comme du mtal ou du
bois, il peut tre viss au plafond et les ressorts peuvent tre retirs.
1. Percez un trou (70 76 mm, 2,75 3 pouces) dans le plafond pour installer le support du
module de camra en mtal de la camra.
2. Retirez la camra du support du module de camra en mtal.
3. Appuyez dlicatement et remettez les trois ressorts du support du module de camra en
mtal dans leurs emplacements.
4. Acheminez le cble rseau travers le plafond et jusquau support du module de camra
en mtal.
5. Insrez le support du module de camra en mtal via le plafond. Assurez-vous que la
zone de visualisation marque sur le bord du dme se trouve face la zone surveiller.
6. Fixez le support du module de camra en mtal au plafond. Insrez un instrument comme

un tournevis dans le support du module de camra et relchez les ressorts pour quils
se fixent au plafond et maintiennent le dme en place.

7. Fixez le cble au connecteur rseau de la camra (alimentation par Ethernet [PoE]

classe 1 prise en charge). Si lalimentation par Ethernet PoE nest pas prise en charge
le commutateur rseau, utilisez linjecteur de puissance PoE fourni pour raccorder
lalimentation la camra rseau AXIS M3014.
8. Vrifiez que les voyants DEL indiquent le bon tat de fonctionnement. Pour plus
dinformations, cf. Voyants page 20.
9. Alignez la flche de la camra sur la flche du support du module de camra et insrez la
camra dans le support du module de camra en mtal.
10. Tournez la camra afin que la flche sur la camra pointe vers la zone de visualisation
marque sur le bord du support du module de camra en mtal.

1. Ouvrez la page Live View dans votre navigateur Web.

2. Tout en regardant limage dans la page Live View, dplacez objectif pour atteindre la

Rglage de la mise au point

La mise au point de la camra rseau AXIS M3014 est rgle en usine de 0,5 m linfini. Elle ne
ncessite normalement pas de rglage. Pour faire la mise au point sur des objets situs moins
de 0,5 m ou, si pour une quelconque raison, la mise au point est drgle, elle peut tre ajuste
de la faon suivante :
1. Dvissez la vis de verrouillage de lobjectif.

2. Tournez manuellement lobjectif pour ajuster la mise au point jusqu ce que limage
sur la page Live View soit satisfaisante.
3. Resserrez doucement la vis de verrouillage de lobjectif.

Fin de linstallation
Placez le couvercle de dme magntique sur la camra. Alignez les trous des rivets.
Les trous des rivets peuvent tre couverts avec les caches en plastique fournis.
Si le dme doit tre scuris, utilisez les vis inviolables fournies et vissez le dme.
Linstallation est maintenant termine.
Rinitialisation aux paramtres dusine par dfaut

Important
La rinitialisation aux paramtres par dfaut doit tre utilise avec prudence. Cette
opration reconfigure tous les paramtres, y compris ladresse IP, aux valeurs dusine par
dfaut.

Pour rinitialiser lappareil aux paramtres dusine par dfaut :
1. Dconnectez lalimentation de lappareil.

2. Maintenez le bouton de commande enfonc et remettez lappareil sous tension.

3. Maintenez le bouton de commande enfonc pendant 15 30 secondes, jusqu ce que le
voyant d'tat passe lorange et clignote.
4. Relchez le bouton de commande. Le processus est termin lorsque le voyant dtat passe
au vert. Les paramtres dusine par dfaut de lappareil ont t rtablis. En labsence dun
serveur DHCP sur le rseau, ladresse IP par dfaut est 192.168.0.90.

5. Utilisez les outils dinstallation et de gestion pour attribuer une adresse IP, configurer le
mot de passe et accder au flux de donnes vido.
Il est galement possible de rtablir les paramtres dusine partir de linterface Web. Accdez
Setup > System Options > Maintenance (Configuration > Options du systme > Maintenance)
et cliquez sur Default (Dfaut).

Transport

Kuppelabdeckung
HINWEIS
Achten Sie darauf die Kuppelabdeckung weder zu zerkratzen, zu beschdigen oder darauf
Fingerabdrcke zu hinterlassen, da dies die Bildqualitt beeintrchtigen kann. Falls
mglich entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie erst nachdem die Installation abgeschlossen ist.
Subern Sie niemals eine Kuppelabdeckung, wenn diese sauber erscheint, und polieren Sie
keinesfalls die Oberflche. Zu hufiges Subern kann die Oberflche beschdigen.
Fr die normale Reinigung der Kuppelabdeckung werden eine nicht-scheuernde,
lsungsmittelfreie neutrale Seife oder ein entsprechendes Reinigungsmittel mit
destilliertem Wasser und ein sauberer, weicher Lappen empfohlen. Splen Sie die
Kuppelabdeckung grndlich mit lauwarmem destilliertem Wasser ab. Trocknen Sie die
Kuppelabdeckung mit einem weichen, sauberen Lappen, um Wasserflecken zu vermeiden.

Verwenden Sie niemals aggressive Reinigungsmittel, Benzin, Benzol oder Aceton usw.
Reinigen Sie die Kuppelabdeckung nicht bei direkter Sonneneinstrahlung oder hheren
Temperaturen.

Die Steuertaste hat folgende Funktionen:

Verbinden mit einem AXIS Video Hosting System-Service oder einem AXIS Internet

Bedienungsanleitung.
Installieren der Hardware

Beachten
Bei Montage der Kameramodulhalterung in hartem Deckenmaterial wie Metall oder Holz
knnen die Kameramodulhalterung an die Decke geschraubt und die Federn entfernt
werden.
1. Bohren Sie ein Loch (70 bis 76 mm), um die Kameramodulhalterung einzupassen.
2. Entfernen Sie die Kamera von der Rckseite der Kameramodulhalterung.
3. Drcken Sie vorsichtig und positionieren Sie die drei Federn der Kameramodulhalterung
wieder in ihren Aussparungen.
4. Ziehen Sie das Netzwerkkabel durch die Decke und durch die Kameramodulhalterung.
5. Fhren Sie die Kameramodulhalterung in die Decke ein. Stellen Sie sicher, dass der
auf dem Rand des Zylinders markierte Sichtbereich in Richtung des zu berwachenden
Bereichs ausgerichtet ist.
6. Befestigen Sie die Kameramodulhalterung in der Decke. Fhren Sie ein Werkzeug, z. B.
einen Schraubendreher, in die Kameramodulhalterung und lsen Sie die Federn, sodass
diese sich in der Decke verhaken und den Zylinder in der Decke halten.

7. Schlieen Sie das Kabel am Netzwerkanschluss (untersttzt PoE, Klasse 1) der

Kamera an. Wenn der Netzwerkswitch PoE nicht untersttzt, versorgen Sie die AXIS
M3014-Netzwerk-Kamera ber den mitgelieferten PoE-Midspan/Power-Injektor mit
Strom.
8. berprfen Sie, ob die LEDs die Betriebszustnde korrekt anzeigen. Ausfhrliche
Informationen finden Sie unter LEDs auf Seite 33.
9. Richten Sie den Pfeil an der Kamera mit dem Pfeil an der Kameramodulhalterung aus und
bringen Sie die Kamera an der Kameramodulhalterung an.
10. Drehen Sie den Pfeil an der Kamera in den auf dem Rand der Kameramodulhalterung
markierten Sichtbereich.

Windows werden AXIS IP Utility und AXIS Camera Management empfohlen. Beide Anwendungen
sind kostenlos und knnen von unserer Website unter www.axis.com/techsup heruntergeladen
werden.
Das Produkt ist mit den meisten Betriebssystemen und Browsern kompatibel. Empfohlen werden

Anpassen des Objektivs

Passen Sie das Objektiv mit diesen Schritten an:
1. ffnen Sie die Live View-Seite des Produkts im Browser.

2. Bewegen Sie das Objektiv in die gewnschte Position und berprfen Sie das Bild auf
der Live View-Seite.
Anpassen des Fokus

Der Fokus der AXIS M3014-Netzwerk-Kamera wird werksseitig auf 0,5 m bis unendlich eingestellt.
Diese Einstellung muss in der Regel nicht gendert werden. Wenn Objekte in einer Entfernung von
unter 0,5 m fokussiert werden mssen oder das Objektiv aus anderen Grnden neu eingestellt
werden muss, befolgen Sie diese Schritte:
1. Lsen Sie die Feststellschraube des Objektivs.

2. Stellen Sie den Fokus durch manuelles Drehen des Objektivs ein, bis das Bild auf der Live
View-Seite zufriedenstellend ist.
3. Ziehen Sie die Feststellschraube des Objektivs vorsichtig wieder an.

Abschluss der Installation

Bringen Sie die magnetische Kuppelabdeckung ber der Kamera an. Bringen Sie die
Nietlcher zur Deckung.
Die Nietlcher knnen mit den mitgelieferten Abdeckungen aus Kunststoff abgedeckt
werden.
Wenn die Kuppel gesichert werden muss, befestigen Sie die Kuppel mit den im
Lieferumfang enthaltenen manipulationssicheren Schrauben.
Die Installation ist damit abgeschlossen.
Zurcksetzen auf Werkseinstellungen

Wichtig
Das Zurcksetzen auf die Werkseinstellungen sollte mit Vorsicht verwendet werden. Beim
Zurcksetzen auf die Werkseinstellungen werden alle Einstellungen einschlielich der
IP-Adresse auf die Werkseinstellungen zurckgesetzt.
Beachten
Die Software-Tools fr Installation und Verwaltung sind ber die Supportseiten unter
www.axis.com/techsup verfgbar.
So wird das Produkt auf die werksseitigen Standardeinstellungen zurckgesetzt:
1. Trennen Sie das Produkt von der Stromversorgung.

2. Halten Sie die Steuertaste gedrckt und stecken Sie den Netzstecker wieder ein. Siehe
bersicht ber die Hardware auf Seite 32.
3. Halten Sie die Steuertaste etwa 15 bis 30 Sekunden gedrckt, bis die LED-Statusanzeige
gelb blinkt.

4. Lassen Sie die Steuertaste los. Der Vorgang ist abgeschlossen, wenn die
LED-Statusanzeige grn leuchtet. Das Produkt wurde auf die Werkseinstellungen
zurckgesetzt. Wenn kein DHCP-Server im Netzwerk verfgbar ist, lautet die
Standard-IP-Adresse 192.168.0.90.
5. Verwenden Sie die Software-Tools fr Installation und Verwaltung, um eine IP-Adresse
zuzuweisen, ein Kennwort einzurichten und auf den Videostream zuzugreifen.
Die Parameter knnen auch ber die Weboberflche auf die Werkseinstellungen zurckgesetzt
werden. Rufen Sie Setup > System Options > Maintenance (Setup > Systemoptionen > Wartung)
auf und klicken Sie auf Default (Standard).

Per la pulizia generale della cupola, si consiglia di utilizzare un sapone neutro o detergente
non abrasivo con acqua pura e un panno morbido e pulito. Sciacquare bene con acqua
pura tiepida. Asciugare con un panno morbido e pulito per evitare macchie d'acqua.
Non usare mai detergenti aggressivi, benzina, benzene o acetone ecc ed evitare di pulire il
coperchio della cupola alla luce diretta del sole o a temperature elevate.

1. Praticare un foro (70-76 mm) nel soffitto per sistemare il contenitore in metallo per
alloggiare la telecamera.
2. Rimuovere la telecamera dal contenitore in metallo.
3. Spingere con cautela e impostare le tre molle sul contenitore in metallo nei rispettivi
alloggiamenti.
4. Far passare il cavo di rete attraverso il contenitore ed il soffitto.
5. Inserire il contenitore in metallo a soffitto. Assicurarsi che l'area visualizzazione
contrassegnata sul bordo della coppa sia rivolta verso l'area che deve essere monitorata.
6. Fissare il contenitore in metallo a soffitto. Inserire uno strumento come un cacciavite nel
contenitore in metallo e rilasciare le molle in modo che si fissino al soffitto e tengano la
coppa in posizione.

7. Collegare il cavo al connettore di rete (supporta un'alimentazione PoE di classe 1) sulla

videocamera. Se PoE non supportato dallo switch di rete, utilizzare l'iniettore di
alimentazione/midspan PoE in dotazione per collegare l'alimentazione alla telecamera di
rete AXIS M3014.
8. Verificare che i LED indichino le condizioni di funzionamento corrette. Per ulteriori

9. Allineare la freccia della telecamera alla freccia del contenitore per modulo telecamera e
inserirla nel contenitore in metallo.

per un qualche motivo l'obiettivo non pi a fuoco, possibile regolarlo nel modo seguente:

2. Ruotare manualmente l'obiettivo per regolare la messa a fuoco fino a quando l'immagine
sulla pagina Live View (Immagini dal vivo) soddisfacente.

Completamento dell'installazione
Posizionare la copertura a cupola magnetica sulla telecamera. Allineare i fori per rivetti.
I fori per rivetti possono essere coperti con i tappi di plastica in dotazione.
Se la cupola deve essere protetta, utilizzare le viti anti-manomissione fornite in
dotazione e avvitare la cupola.
A questo punto l'installazione completata.
Ripristino dei valori predefiniti di fabbrica

Importante
Il ripristino delle impostazioni di fabbrica deve essere usato con cautela. Un ripristino delle
impostazioni di fabbrica consentir di ripristinare le impostazioni di fabbrica per tutti i
parametri, incluso l'indirizzo IP.

Instrucciones de seguridad
A VISO
El producto de Axis debe utilizarse de acuerdo con las leyes y normativas locales.
Para usar el producto de Axis en exteriores, o en entornos similares, debe instalarse en
una carcasa exterior aprobada.
Almacene el producto de Axis en un entorno seco y ventilado.
Evite la exposicin del producto de Axis a choques o a una fuerte presin.
No instale el producto en soportes, superficies o paredes inestables.
Utilice solo las herramientas correspondientes cuando instale el producto de Axis. La
aplicacin de una fuerza excesiva con herramientas elctricas puede provocar daos
en el producto.
No utilice limpiadores en aerosol, agentes custicos ni productos qumicos.
Limpie con un pao limpio humedecido con agua pura.
Utilice solo accesorios que cumplan con las especificaciones tcnicas del producto. Estos

Transporte

Cuando transporte el producto de Axis, utilice el embalaje original o un equivalente para
evitar daos en el producto.
Cubierta del domo

A VISO
Preste atencin a no araar, daar o dejar las huellas en la cubierta del domo, puesto que
esto puede provocar una disminucin de la calidad de imagen. Si es posible, mantenga el
plstico de proteccin en la cubierta del domo hasta que se complete la instalacin.
No limpie la cubierta del domo si parece a simple vista que est limpia y nunca pula la
superficie. Una limpieza excesiva podra daar la superficie.
Para realizar un procedimiento de limpieza general de la cubierta del domo se recomienda
usar detergente o jabn neutros, sin disolventes y no abrasivos mezclados con agua pura,
y un pao suave y limpio. Enjuague bien con agua pura y tibia. Seque con un pao limpio
y suave para evitar las manchas de gotas de agua.
Nunca utilice detergentes abrasivos, gasolina, benceno, acetona, etc. y evite limpiar la
cubierta del domo a temperaturas elevadas o en contacto directo con la luz solar.

Instalacin del hardware

Nota
Si el soporte del mdulo de la cmara se monta en un techo duro, como de metal o de
madera, el soporte metlico del mdulo de la cmara puede atornillarse al techo y pueden
quitarse los muelles.
1. Perfore un orificio (7076 mm, 2,753 pulgadas) en el techo para fijar el soporte metlico
del mdulo de la cmara.
2. Retire la cmara del soporte metlico del mdulo de la cmara.
3. Empuje y ajuste con cuidado de nuevo en sus alojamientos los tres muelles del soporte
metlico del mdulo de la cmara.
4. Tire del cable de red a travs del techo y del soporte metlico del mdulo de la cmara.
5. Inserte el soporte metlico del mdulo de la cmara en el techo. Asegrese de que el
rea de visualizacin marcada en el borde de la carcasa est orientada hacia la zona
que va a vigilarse.
6. Fije el soporte metlico del mdulo de la cmara en el techo. Inserte un instrumento

como un destornillador en el soporte metlico del mdulo de la cmara y suelte los
muelles para que se agarren al techo y sujeten la carcasa en su sitio.

7. Conecte el cable al conector de red de la cmara (admite PoE clase 1). Si este conmutador
de red no admite la alimentacin PoE, utilice el inyector de alimentacin/midspam PoE
proporcionado para conectar la alimentacin a la cmara de red AXIS M3014.
8. Compruebe que los indicadores LED indican las condiciones correctas. Vea Indicadores
LED en la pgina 52, para conocer ms detalles.
9. Alinee la flecha de la cmara con la flecha del soporte del mdulo de la cmara y fije la
cmara en el soporte metlico del mdulo de la cmara.

Acceso al producto
Se recomiendan AXIS IP Utility y AXIS Camera Management como mtodos para buscar los

Ajuste del objetivo

Para ajustar la posicin del objetivo, siga estos pasos:
1. Abra la pgina Vista en directo del navegador.

2. Mientras observa la imagen de la pgina Vista en directo, mueva el objetivo hasta la
posicin deseada.
Ajuste del enfoque

El enfoque de la cmara de red AXIS M3014 est ajustado de fbrica desde 0,5 m a infinito.
Normalmente, no necesita ajuste. Para enfocar objetos a menos de 0,5 m o si, por alguna razn, el
objetivo se ha desenfocado, se puede ajustar del siguiente modo:
1. Afloje el tornillo de bloqueo del objetivo.

2. Gire manualmente el objetivo para ajustar el enfoque hasta que la imagen de la pgina
Vista en directo se vea correctamente.
3. Vuelva a apretar suavemente el tornillo de bloqueo del objetivo.

Finalizacin de la instalacin
Coloque la cubierta magntica del domo sobre la cmara. Alinee los orificios de fijacin.
Los orificios de fijacin pueden taparse con los tapones de plstico provistos.
Si es necesario fijar con seguridad el domo, utilice los tornillos a prueba de
manipulaciones proporcionados y atornille el domo en su sitio.
La instalacin se ha completado.
Restablecimiento a la configuracin predeterminada de fbrica

Importante
Hay que tener cuidado al restablecer la configuracin predeterminada de fbrica. Todos
los valores, incluida la direccin IP, se restablecern a la configuracin predeterminada
de fbrica.
Nota
Las herramientas del software de instalacin y gestin estn disponibles en las pginas de
asistencia tcnica en www.axis.com/techsup.
Para restablecer el producto a la configuracin predeterminada de fbrica:
1. Desconecte la alimentacin del producto.

2. Mantenga pulsado el botn de control y vuelva a conectar la alimentacin. Vea
Informacin general del hardware en la pgina 52.
3. Mantenga pulsado el botn de control durante 15-30 segundos hasta que el indicador
LED de estado parpadee en mbar.
4. Suelte el botn de control. El proceso finaliza cuando el indicador LED de estado se pone
verde. El producto se ha restablecido a la configuracin predeterminada de fbrica. Si

no hay ningn servidor DHCP disponible en la red, la direccin IP predeterminada es

192.168.0.90.
5. Utilice las herramientas del software de instalacin y gestin para asignar una direccin
IP, establecer la contrasea y acceder a la transmisin de vdeo.
Tambin es posible restablecer los parmetros a los valores predeterminados de fbrica mediante la
interfaz web. Vaya a Setup > System Options > Maintenance (Configuracin > Opciones del
sistema > Mantenimiento) y haga clic en Default (Predeterminado).
