SIGNATOM UBER SIGN IMPORTANT: Without touching the lever on
Installation (~15 min.):
There are many ways and places where
SIGNATOM UBER sign can be installed in your
car based on your preference. We recommend
to first try to install it on the windshield
because it is easy and quick.
Components included:
- 5 x 5 inch SIGNATOM UBER SIGN (see Figure
1A)
- DC5V Inverter (see Figure 1B)
- USB Adapter (Figure 1C)
- 10-feet Extension Cord (Figure 1D)
- Black tape (4.5in, on the back of the sign)
- 1 piece of Velcro (3/4in x 4in)
Quick installation on windshield
passenger side:
- Step 1: Plug the male connector from the
UBER sign in the female connector of the
10-feet cord extension (shown in Figure 2.)
- Step 4: Continue to run the cord underneath
male connector, gently ensure the connectors
dont come apart (Figure 2); if they do come
apart, please gently push the connectors until
they are locked in.
- Step 2: Cut the Velcro with scissors to the
desired length and width, or use it as is. Attach
the rough side of the Velcro at the top-edge of the
sign. Wedge the bottom-edge of the sign where
the windshield meets the dashboard. Attach the
soft side of the Velcro on the windshield and stick
the sign on it.
- Step 3: Open the passenger door and run the
10-feet cord over the right side of the dashboard
which is hidden when the door is closed. Secure
the cord on this area by using the piece of black
electrical tape that comes attached on the back of
the sign. IMPORTANT: Please make sure the
connectors stay on the dashboard to avoid getting

them smashed by closing the passenger door.
the passenger floor mat, going from front to
rear of the mat. Run the cord underneath the
passenger seat, then up toward the central
console where the cigarette lighter socket is
located. Note: The socket may be positioned
differently in your car; please make any
adjustment to the path of the cord as
appropriate. Gently fold any excess of the cord
and secure it underneath the seat or inside the
central console.
- Step 5: Insert the USB adapter into the lighter
socket and make sure the blue light is on. Then
insert the USB connector from the inverter into
any of the 3 ports of the USB adapter. The
remaining ports can be used to charge your
phone or other devises.
- Removing the sign:
Unplug the connectors by pushing down the
lever on the male connector (Figure 2) and
gently pulling them away from each other.
Detach the sign from the windshields Velcro.
Be mindful that the Velcro may wear off
overtime; new Velcro can be purchase at any
Home Centers. If getting the sign on and off is
not necessary for you, another option is to
attach the sign using a double-sided
adhesive/tape which can be purchased at any
Home Center or at Staples.
