Adjectives

Adjectives are words that give quality to a noun (substantivo). They come
before a noun:

Its a nice (adjective) day (noun) today. ( not day nice)

Anna has brown eyes. (not eyes brown)

Theres a very old church in this town. (not church old)

David is a rich man. (not man rich)

Adjectives do not have plural:

A different place = singular

Different places = plural

Blue car = singular

Blue cars = plural

Adjectives come after the verb TO BE (am, is, are):

The weather is nice today. (not nice is)

Those flowers are beautiful. (not beautiful are)

The film wasnt good. (was = past of the verb TO BE)(not good wasnt)

Please, be quiet. (not quiet be)

Adjectives come after look/feel/smell/taste/sound:

He feels tired. (not tired feels)

They look happy. (not happy look)

It smells great. (not great smells)

The song sounds bad. (not bad sounds)

The chocolate tastes excellent. (not excellent tastes)
