This article talks about the research and study a group of people did on struggling readers that
are in grades fourth through twelfth. The dates of these studies go all the way back to the 19 th-
century with the kids being involved in the study being fairly intelligent, just struggle with
learning to read. The article goes into detail on the analytical approach and the method these
people did to make their research. Among this group of people doing the research were
physicians, educators and psychologist, all very interested in finding answers and more
information about the topic. Over 100 years these people did intense research and studies to
try to answer unsolved questions.

college. It starts by stating that a student needs to know the purpose of why theyre studying
what they are, and without knowing that the student has no motivation to do so. It talks about
the environment of the educational center shows impact on how students spend their time,
therefore the quieter and focused a place is, the more studying will be done. The article then
goes on to talk about statistically the racial settings and the impact it can have on success of
students. Alongside diversity of race, it talks about diversity of income and how usually

This article is about Americans states legalizing medical marijuana and the impact its having on
other medicines. Since medical marijuana seems to be the replacement of so many other
medicines, other prescriptions are declining as well as Medicare spending on other drugs such
as painkillers and antidepressants. There is a study being done analyzing the effect of medical
marijuana over prescription drugs, but the results have not been posted yet. It is stated the
medical marijuana isnt listed as an overdoes fatal drug, therefore could be the reason people
are flocking to it so much faster than prescribed drugs. Many problems are coming along with
medical marijuana, such as the lack in prescription drugs being bought now and a higher risk of
addiction to marijuana.
