NALCO 4221,
ANALYTICAL PROCEDURE 20030
DR/2010 Procedure
AP-60E-2/2010
SPECIFICATIONS
Method: Spectrophotometric (DR/2010)
Range: 100 to 6000 50 ppb as NALCO
4221, 20030
Testing Time: 15 minutes
DESCRIPTION
An accurate, simple method of colourimetric
analysis, the portable DR/2010 spectrophotometer
is utilised to quickly analyse NALCO 4221 or 20030
concentration for monitoring proper application
levels. The test is based on iron reduction chemistry
Nalco DR/2010 Spectrophotometer
and is simple to perform. The NALCO 4221 or
20030 in the sample reduces ferric iron to ferrous
iron in direct proportion to the NALCO 4221 or
20030 concentration. This solution then reacts with Description Part No.
