Response to Fuller Connection: 6th Grade Mathematics Classroom Syllabus, Policies, and Procedures

1. The student comes to class prepared with his/her folder, paper, pencil, notes, and assignments.
2. The student is actively engaged, participates in class activities, and works cooperatively with
others. The student asks clarifying questions to ensure understanding of material.
3. The parent/guardian reviews the agenda daily, reviews notes with child, and checks homework
for completion and understanding.
4. The student submits assignments with work shown and answers checked before class.
5. The student does their best everyday: reviewing math notes and completing assignments.
6. Weekly, the student explains what he/she learned in math class to a parent/guardian.
7. The student attends tutoring once a week if he/she is failing at progress report time.
8. The student studies every day, so he/she will be prepared for assessments.
9. The student understands all information in newsletter and all grading policies and procedures.
10. The concerned student or parent contacts Mrs. Fuller at school (770.819.2414) or by e-mail
(annette.fuller@cobbk12.org) when necessary.
