Medical Surgical:
Worked as staff nurse on a hospital ward that consist of Pre-op and Post
-op surgical patients, cancer patients, geriatric and stroke patients. My role
was to admit, assess and do total care for 20-25 patients per shift.
Specialty Training:
Endoscopy assistant (RN). Experienced in all aspects of Endoscopy procedures an
d equipment.
IVCS for Pain Management procedures done in surgery. This includes sedating, m
onitoring and reporting to PACU after the epidural injection.
Circulating Cataract surgery. This includes prepping the eye for surgery, circ
ulating the case to assure that the Standard of Care is given to the patient und
er-going cataract surgery.
Circulating minor surgeries. This includes prepping for removal of skin lesions

Circulating minimally invasive spinal surgeries to include: discetomy, laminofor
aminoplasty, pain mapping, facet debridements, SI joint debridement.
Infusion Nurse: This includes Chemotherapy, blood products, antibiotics, iron,
hydration and anything that can be given via infusion. This also includes carin
g for PICC lines, Mediports and all central lines.
PICC Nurse: Inserting PICC lines in the In Patient and Out Patient I.V. Therapy
units.
Medical Summaries: This involves reading and summarizing files from a lawyers
records. Most of these summaries are personal injury cases.

MANAGEMENT
Manager of a Endoscopy unit that performed 300-400 procedures per month in a ho
spital setting. I management 15-20 employees to include unit clerks, LPN, RN an
d Endoscopy Techs.
Clinical Manager: This role was in a Ambulatory Surgical Center. My role was to
make sure adequate staffing was available daily to assist in surgeries and pro
cedures. I supervised 25-30 employees. I worked closely with the Surgery Cent
er Administrator to plan the budget, equipment and long term goals for the cente
r.
Surgery Director: As the Director my duties were the same as the Clinical Manag
er plus manager over the Business Office and Medical Records Department.
