Mechanics for Mr. and Ms.

Nutrition Month 2017

1. Each homeroom must pick 2 representatives, 1 male and 1 female. They will
compete in the Mr. and Ms. Nutrition Month 2017,

2. Mr. and Ms. Nutrition Month 2017 aims to look for two representatives who will
uphold the importance of vegetables to keep an individual physically, mentally,
and emotionally healthy.
3. The representatives will be given a briefing on July 20, 2017, Thursday after
classes.
4. The pageant will be held on July 27, 2017, 8:00 am at the Bansud Sports
Complex.
5. There are 16 contenders for the Miss Nutrition Month and 16 contenders for
the Mister Nutrition Month, representatives of the same section will compete
individually, not as a pair. Moreover, they will be assigned random numbers.
7. The Opening and Introduction Round will be judged as follows:
a. Costume and Overall Appearance- 50%
b. Poise and Confidence- 20%
c. Introduction- 20%
d. Audience Impact- 10%
Total- 100%
8. The second round of the pageant is the talent portion wherein the top 10
contenders, both males and females, will showcase their prepared production
number for 2-3 minutes only. The contestants need to coordinate with the
secretary of the organization for music requirements.
9. The Talent Round will be scored as follows:
a. Execution- 40%
b. Originality- 30%
c. Audience Impact- 30%

10. The 5 contestants for the boys and the girls with the highest points will
advance to the next round.
11. The final round will be the Question and Answer Portion. Each contestant will
pick a judge who will ask him/her a question. He/She has 40 seconds to answer
and elaborate.
12. The judges will score their answers and will rank them. The highest pointer
among the 5 boys and 5 girls will be declared Mr. and Ms. Nutrition Month 2012.
14. On July 21, a pictorial-rehearsal will be held. The pictures will be taken by a
student photographer. The pictures together with the details of each candidate
placed in the caption will be uploaded on the official facebook page
NUTRITREEN. From the time it has been uploaded until July 22, 12 noon, the
pictures must be campaigned and the photo of the candidate (boy and girl) with
the highest number of HEARTS will be given the award of Mr. and Ms. Netizens
Choice and will have an automatic slot in the Top 5.
15. The winners will be awarded with certificates and trophies.
16. All contestants will be given a certificate of participation.
