Conducting class visits on regular basis

- Demonstrating lessons when need be

- Monitoring teachers on the exam marking procedures and timely submission of exam
results

- Providing continuous training on classroom management, the point system, pacing


charts, use of testing data, instructional methods and student outcomes

- Monitoring students academic progress by analyzing the academic reports of all exam
results on a weekly basis and take the necessary action by talking to the teachers, students
and their parents. All follow up actions should be recorded and documented in students
files and record books.

Experiences:

1993-1994 English Teachers with( the Franciscan Sisters School) Teaching the Second
Grade and the Forth Grade ,each class has 25-30 students. I was responsible for the
library of the school.

1994-2007 I worked with the (Ministry of Education) as an English Teacher in Primary


Schools for Girl Schools and mixed schools.

1994-2007 I was a form (class) Teacher for the sixth, eighth Grades.

approximately 840 children.

programme.

2014-2016 Education in Emergency Coordinator :

In support of the No Lost Generation Initiative. We work on


strengthening the school systems, the education curriculum and social
cohesion for Jordanian and Lebanese communities, and the Syrian
refugees they are hosting.
Duties:
-Project Planning and implementation
Ensure that the education program adequately and cost effectively address the
needs of children & youth , rooted in an understanding of the context and other
initiatives within the education sector.
- Oversees performance of partners by ensuring coordinated inouts and
technical quality of program activities.
- Ensure that all Education in Emergency activities and resourses are
implemented in a way that promotes local capacities and sustainable
operations.
- Encourage and ensure the participation of all groups of children ,especially
children who are most vulnerable in education in emergency activities.
- In coordination with Child in Emergency coordinator , support regular
participatory activities with different groups of children to identify issues
affecting children in communities and assist the team to develop appropriate
responses.
- Conduct frequent field visits to all program sites throughout Jordan.

- Ensure cross cutting themes (eg. Disability ,gender ,child protection ) are
integrated into EIE interventions.

- Capacity building and training :


- Participation in technical and other assessment of the capacity of local NGO
partners to determine their suitability for partnership in Education.
- Participate in the identification of capacity needs of partner organizations and
develop training materials and documentation required to deliver the program.
- Assist in the provision of appropriate capacity building for the local partner
staff involvedin the implementation of education activities to ensure the
sustainability of the project.
- Work closely with and provide ongoing support , mentoring and coaching for
local NGO partners of the project ,in implementintation of the project
activities.

-Partnership and networking


-Follow up with local NGO partners to ensure that all the finance requests,
procurement requests, activity and fianace reports are made on time .
- Build and maintain relationships with other NGOs , in order to build
partnerships and positive engagement in education matter.
- Ensure effective coordination and networking with local authorities and
other agencies working for education.
- With the approval of supervisor ,represent the World Vision Jordan , and its
program at Inter-agency meetings, workshops and conferences that are
deemed to be useful to World vision.

Monitoring, Evaluation and Reporting:


- In coordination with CiE coordinator and DM&E develop clear monitoring
and evaluation tools to measure the quality and impact of education activities
implementation by local NGO partners.
- Monitor the implementation of EiE project activities by local NGO partners
and provide technical guidance where necessary based on INEE standards.
- Participate in internal and external evaluation if any of the project using these
as opportunities to elicit and document achievements , most significant
changes, learning and opportunities.
- Document lessons learned and assess quality of supplies for EiE to improve
quality of programming and allow for appropriate adjustment.
- Quality documentation including assessment and progress reports ,proposals,
programme plans that meet WV and donor requirements.

- Child Protection:
- Promote the protection and right to education of the vulnerable children by
identifying key protection threats affecting the children participation in the
education program activities.

- Comply fully and ensure partner compliance with WVs child protection
policy and code of conduct.
- Any other duties that may be assigned by the supervisor.

- I am responsible for assessment, response analysis, design and


implementation of the EiE component of PLANs emergency response. I co-
ordinate with other Emergency Response team members and PLAN staff,
especially Implementation Management, protection and other relevant
technical sectors, to ensure a rapid, proportionate and effective response. In
addition I need to ensure response to immediate child education & issues with
simultaneous consideration of longer term needs and possible scenarios. As a
specialist I take a very active role in technical co-ordination, support and
advocacy with the country specific education Clusters and other stakeholders
and technical agencies relevant to the sector.

2016 2019 I will be part of protection and Education and Renewable energy
project to enhance child protection , Education and Economic Resilience in
Jordan for both Syrian and Jordanian in Amman , Irbid , Mafraq and Zarqa.

- 2016 ECCD ( Early Childhoold Care and Development Coordinator :

- Coordinate the expansion of education and child protection programming in


close collaboration with the education team and CP team technical unit.

- Education (ECCD) Program management and implementation.

- Ensure that the intervention is in compliance with the program framework ,


International and educational standards and national policies.

- Ensure the program is in line with INEE minimum standard, CP minimum


standards and sphere Protection standards.

- Oversee implementation of the education program , management of budgets


( budget forecasting , development of spending plans and budget follow up )
and reporting in accordance with WV and donor regulations.

- Collaborate closely with program department and support department.

- Undertake regular field monitoring visit to assess progress and identify


issues and /or other implementation issues , provide solutions and implement
modification as required .

- Ensure that monitoring and evaluation system s are developed (including


indicators and tracking sheets ,assessment tools , criteria) and implemented in
all education program , that actively , output and effect data are captured in an

accurate and efficient mannar,and that the program is continually tailored to
optimize quality.

- Work with the WV staff to design robust monitoring tools for remote
monitoring and ensure program quality including education achievement
measurements.

- Ensure all monitoring activities are fully documented, including systematic


and timely data collection as required under the grant and for WV M&E
purposes.

- Contribute to WV and donor reports as per schedules ( monthly ,quarterly and


annually) on grant activities, indicators and achievements.

- Representation and coordination

- Build strong relationships with Education Ministry officials and other stake
holders, establishing WV as a key actor in Education and other sectors.

- Serve on coordinating bodies and represent WV in stakeholder meetings for


education.

- Staff Supervision &Development

- Work closely with staff from various programmatic and operational teams to
deliver high quality activities at the community level.

- Maintain open and professional relations with other refugee response


programs, promoting a strong team spirit and providing oversight and
guidance to enable staff to successfully perform in their positions.

- Ensure timely completion and submission of monthly timesheets and annual


performance review.

- Manage Education teams, providing continuous support and ensure capacity


building of staff.
