PRODUCT CONCEPT

Proposed Product / Service: Tick and Flea Pacifier kit for Domestic Pets.

Problem: What problem are you trying to solve? What user need are you satisfying? Briefly describe the core problem
and other related sub-problems

The problem is the locating and eliminating of parasites living in pets that are common cause of pet diseases. We were
trying the need of pet-owners who wish to clean for example their dog, to free them from ticks and lice that makes
them healthy. Most parasites carry viruses, having disease from pets carried by parasites such as ticks and fleas affects
the life of both the pet and the pet-owner as they both constantly fight in maintaining their hygiene. The process of
locating and eliminating these parasites is a bit of a problem and requires ample amount of time and energy to fully
pacify these parasites. The sub related problem is the uneasiness of pets when doing the process of locating and
eliminating the parasites, most pets dont have the patience to stay in place for a big amount of time. Another sub
related problem is the doubt whether the pest that was collected is already killed. Fleas requires a hard force for
smacking and sometimes even though the fleas are smacked enough they are still alive.

Solution: What is the big idea behind the product? How does your idea work? What is the level of uniqueness of your
idea?

It is to design a tick and flea locator using thermal imaging as these parasites feed on blood of hosts which can emit
temperature readings. Along with it is a killer in a form of a comb that uses small charges that is enough to kill these
parasites and not affect the pet host, and a collection system for the dead parasites to fully clean the pet free from
parasites. Thermal imagery for ticks and fleas is not yet seen in the market as for the killer there are some in the market
but it is only designed to kill the parasites and not collect them.

What are the benefits and features of your product or service? What is your competitive advantage? How will your
product / service differ?

By using the product, it will speed up the conventional process of locating, killing, and collecting these parasites from
your pet. You will be able to accurately find the location of these parasites as to which where the parasite killer and
collector will be much easier to use and completely pacify the pet from having ticks and fleas.

TARGET MARKET
Describe the specific target market (gender, age, status, specific need for the product or service)

Domestic Pet-Owners, Veterinary services, and pet grooming services that offers a tick and lice removal for domestic
pets such as dogs and cats. Both of which are of age old enough to understand the responsibility and the importance of
eliminating these parasites as part of household hygiene for pets and pet-owners.
COMPETITION
What are the alternative solutions to the problem? Who offers a similar solution? How will you beat the competition?
There is only one solution that was offered by the market which is the comb that kills the parasites and none for the
location and collection. We will be able to beat the competition by completing the process of pacifying these parasites
by providing necessary tools for each process that would make the whole operation more convenient, efficient and
most of all less time and energy consuming than the conventional operation of removing these parasites from pets.
