"neutralization"generatessubstantialamountsofheatandproduceswaterplusasalt.Insolubleinwaterbuteven
"insoluble"carboxylicacidsmayabsorbenoughwaterfromtheairanddissolvesufficientlyinittocorrodeordissolve
iron,steel,andaluminumpartsandcontainers.Mayreactwithcyanidesaltstogenerategaseoushydrogencyanide.Will
reactwithsolutionsofcyanidestocausethereleaseofgaseoushydrogencyanide.Flammableand/ortoxicgasesand
heataregeneratedbyreactionwithdiazocompounds,dithiocarbamates,isocyanates,mercaptans,nitrides,andsulfides.

preparedtotransportthevictimtoahospital.Provideproperrespiratoryprotectiontorescuersenteringanunknown
