When I tool the 16 personality test once again, this time for my SHURMAN class, my test

results were the same as the results I got when I took the test for my HUMANBE class. The
statistics of each personality however, mostly changed. In my first take, my
extravert/introvert score was 61% extravert but my recent results showed that is was 54%
extravert. My intuitive/observant in my previous take and my recent take were the same;
65% intuitive. My previous thinking/feeling score was 70% feeling, now it is 79% feeling. My
previous judging/prospecting score was 63% prospecting and now it is 58% prospecting.
Lastly, my previous assertive/turbulent score was 64% assertive and now it is 55% assertive.
Although there were some changes in numbers, overall, my personality type is still the same.
The changes in number maybe due to the new experiences I have encountered after taking
my first test and could have influenced some of my answers. It might be a possibility that I
found some strengths and positives within the introverted side of the spectrum.

My personality strengths can be very helpful when I embark in my career because it takes a
lot of people interaction and creativity for the industry I wish to work in. I am currently taking
up Marketing Management and in the marketing industry, my traits can help me become
successful. Knowing my personality type can help me become more aware of my abilities and
can set up as a guide for me to know what job or career suits for me.

The second test I took was the SelfStir Survey. The survey aims to evaluate us in various
competencies and also evaluate our leadership skills. Leadership is an important skill to have
in the workplace. As employees, we all aspire to have managerial jobs and leadership is a vital
skill that managers need in order to keep their team working. In my opinion, the 360 o
assessment is important in the workplace because it helps us become self aware of our own
capabilities. Knowing our capabilities will enable us to become better employees because
when we maximize our skills and attribute, we become more efficient and productive. In
addition, the SelfStir Survey is also a form of feedback. In my SHURMAN class, feedback is an
important aspect in performance management. Feedback allows us to be aware of the things
we are good at and things that we need to improve.

The SelfStir Survey help us become effective leaders why determining which competencies
we can maximize and competencies which we need to improve. What makes SelfStir really
effective is that we are being evaluated by our peers. Our peers are an important factor in
evaluation because they are the ones who see us in a different perspective, they are also the
ones who have experience us in a team setting. The competencies I got were self-awareness,
collaboration, motivating others and vision and purpose. These competencies are vital for
being a leader. Being a leader is important in the industry I wish to work in because most of
the time, we work in teams. The marketing industry in most cases works in teams and if I wish
to become a manger or a team head, these competencies will help me succeed my goal.
