EXECUTIVE SUMMARY OF PROJECT

Objective of the project: 1) To understand the overall operations of the Brightwayz.

2) To define various supporting activities require for the Brightwayz

3) To correlate all supporting activities required for the Brighwayz

4) To define operational framework for the same company.

Brightways is a subsidiary group of Nirmala Consol Private Limited is a competency building institute and since its
inception has registered phenomenal achievements. Brightways is into education field from last 2 years and has been
known for its innovative approach. We all are professionals from IIM, IIT, JBIMS, VJTI, UDCT and Symbiosis

who would like to provide defined and systematic approach to all MBA graduates who all are not from top B- schools.
Brightways has a comprehensive, innovative and organized approach which enables the MBA students to understand the
current industry demands and ingrains the finesse of impressing the recruiters. Brightwayz had many support activities
which are correlated with each other. Therefore, I worked on this problem during my summer project in Consol.

I have discussed following points through my project:

1) I am giving the basic information about CONSOL Group as a company and Brigtwayz , their product line, there feature
and about their operational requirement.

2) Then I am discussing about various requirements from operational front.

3) While preparing the plan, I have considered present condition of Brightwayz and target customer to bring the sustainability
in overall operations.

4) In the final part, I have discussed about the Limitation and Future prospects of the Project.

This project presents a framework for implementing of the technical and operational aspects of lean manufacturing within
the education sector based on research within and out with the sector.

I have tried my level best to put best efforts to take out maximum data from the given region, and to use that data for the
preparation of operational framework for Brightwayz plan. I am sure this IMC plan will help Consol in future.

CHAPTER 1
INTRODUCTION

Education is the learning of knowledge, information and skills during the life. It lightens
our society from small villages to the developed city also. Education in India
takes major changes. As the time passes we had KASHI, TAKSHSHILA, and NALANDA
one of the most famous education institutes in the ancient world.

Today the model of education has changed from knowledge based to carrier based. People
study to secure career and not to get adequate knowledge. Knowledge is the confident
understanding of a subject with the ability to use it for specific purpose while the education is
the approach to acquire the knowledge.

Education industry is the second largest industry in India after the food industry. It is growing
with the rapid pace with the growth rate of more 100%. Its capital growth is around of Rs.
10000 crore in comparison to previous year. Near around 12% of the total employment is due
to education industry. From this data we can get idea that there is large opportunity of
business in this particular industry.

Knowledge is the driving force in the rapidly changing globalised economy and society.
Emergence of knowledge as a driving factor results in both challenges and opportunities.
The growth of the global economy has increased opportunities for countries with good levels
of education. In todays global environment, an accessible and high quality higher education
system is imperative for a nations economic progress.
