3. PURPOSE
To maintain the RFO KPIs the quality and stability of the network is very important as it
has a direct impact. Thus, this SOP purpose is to standardize the BSS Interface procedure
involved for Listing & Tracking of Hardware Issues that affects Network Performance &
Quality of service.
4. SCOPE
Every Network suffers from Degradation of the equipment with the passage of time; this
type of degradation affects Network Performance & Quality of Service. It is responsibility of
optimization Engineer to continuously monitor these types of degradations that affects the
Network Performance through Statistical Analysis; Customer Complains & Field drive
Testing.
Any hardware problem that degrades the Network Performance must be highlighted &
pointed out to BSS operation for the speedy rectification & up keeping of the Network
performance & Quality of Service.
The main scope of this document is to highlight the procedures involved while
coordinating with BSS OPS for the resolution of hardware issues.
5. RESPONSIBILITY:
1. The prime responsibility of maintaining and safe guarding the tracker is of
RFO Core Team.
2. Any Optimizer who suspects hardware fault with the culprit site can raise the
issue in RFO BSS Tracker.
3. Only designated BSS personnel can close the TT raised by RFO.
6. PROCEDURE
Following is the step-wise procedure:
1. RFO team filters out the culprit cells which are suspected to have hardware issues
affecting RFO KPIs.
2. RFO further filters out any suspected hardware issues while monitoring the stats or
through field test analysis.
