Export JT files from command prompt

You can translate .jt files using command prompt options. At the command prompt, enter:
jt_step.exe <options> <JT-file>

Use this option To do this

-h Display a list of short, one line explanations for each option.

-i Display compile date and time.

Specify an output directory and an output filename.

-o[output path and filename] Note This option overrides the output directory referenced in the configuration file.

l[input file] Translate input files listed in <file>.

z[configuration file] Specify the name of a valid configuration file to load.

w[configuration file] Specify the name of Export configuration file to save.

wE[configuration file], wI[configuration file], w[configuration file] Save configuration <file> Export/Import/Both.

v, v2, v3 Write detailed information to the shell while your model translates at levels of detail 1 to 3.

-d [directory] Translate files in the input directory

To use the command prompt:

At the command prompt, type


jt_step.exe path_to_Jt_file <z configuration_file>

Note If you do not include a reference to your specific configuration file, the default configuration file is used.

Enter command-line options, as desired.


Example:
jt_step.exe -h
jt_step.exe Part1.jt z jttostep.config o C:\Temp

jt_step.exe D:\Part1.jt v z jttostep.config


jt_step.exe l D:\JtFilesList.txt v z jttostep.config o C:\Temp
