Working as Network Engineer in M/s ICOMM Tele Ltd. Kerala, from 1st Sep 09 to Till Date.

Project Details :

Name : Implementation of WiMAX

Role : Network Engineer

Location : All over Kerala

Roles and Responsibilities :

Preparing the IP pool plan as per the BSNL Proposal.

Preparing the Design plan in the sites for Installation of ASN Gateway (JUNIPER Router), 3COM
Core LAN Switch & the Cisco Router (HA).
Taking care of the Installation and Power ON of these Networking Elements.
Configuring the 3COM Core LAN Switch and Cisco 7500 series Router as per our Network
Requirements.
Configuring the Local User Names & Passwords for AUX & Virtual Terminal, VLANs, Access Ports,
Trunk Ports, ACLs, Static Routes in the 3COM Core LAN Switch H3C S7500 Series.
Installation & Commissioning all the Wimax BTS(StarMAX 6000 Series Mobile Base Station) and
Aggregating all the Base stations through E1-Streams,FE,Optical and other Transmission
Equipments to ASN.
Upgrading the BTS with the new Firmware Version and Checking the connectivity between the BTS
and the ASN Gateway.
Integrating the WiMAX ASN with Customer Service Network (CSN) and NIB.
Ensuring the connectivity between all the ASN Network elements like Base Stations (IDUs and
ODUs), ASN Gateway, Servers and the NIB.
 Monitoring & Clearing the Alarms at the BTS.

IP Address Planning, Subnetting in FLSM & VLSM.

Configuration of Cisco & Juniper Routers and Switches.
