CLASSROOM SUPPLIES:
To reduce the risk of germs spreading via the computer lab, all students are asked to bring the
following items :
(2) box of tissues

TARDY POLICY:
At Life School, a student is tardy if they are not in their seat or desk ready to work when the bell
rings. All tardies to any class are unexcused unless the student is detained by a teacher, in
which case a pass issued by an administrator should be presented to the teacher by the student
upon arrival. If a student misses 15 minutes or more of a class, he/she will be counted absent
from that class per the student handbook.

MAKEUP WORK:
Students that miss class for any reason, including school related activities, will be responsible
for getting their own make-up work from the teacher. Assignments are posted on my website
for students and parents to see what the student is missing and can be accessed through the
Life School Website or my class website. If you know youre going to be missing my class, please
plan ahead.

LATE WORK:
All due dates are posted and communicated with students when the assignment is assigned.
The due date will posted on my class website and/or Google Classroom. Due to the nature of
my class and project related to it, each student will have enough time to complete an
assignment or project. If a student does not submit their assignment or project by the due date,
they will receive 10 points off per day the assignment is late. If a student missing the due date
because of missing school due to sickness or something to that nature, the assignment will not
be deducted. I strongly encourage (but do not require) that all assignments or projects to be
turned in prior to leaving for an event that was planned out in advance if the due date is while
they are absent.

GRADING SCALE:
90% - 100% - A
80% - 89% - B
70% - 79% - C
0% - 69% - F

Tests/Projects 70%
Daily Work/Quizzes/Participation-30%

CONFLICT RESOLUTION:
If at any time a student feels that the academic or discipline system is treating them unfairly, I
will do my best to communicate with both student and parent about the situation. I will
schedule a time to discuss issues with a student or parent, but during class is not an appropriate
time to discuss tardies, dress code infractions, tallies or grade disputes.
