Drill an 8 mm hole (A) in the plug approx. 8 mm from the centre of the plug. Use drilling paste so that metal chips do
not get into the cooling channels.

Insert a screwdriver or similar tool into the hole and prise out the plug. Clean the plug seat carefully.

Fit the new plug using sealant and tap it into place with a drift and hammer. The surface of the plug is to be flush with
the surrounding surface. Use sealant LOCLITE 572.
