Fundo Santa Isabel Company was establish in 2016, when Don

Paulino Soto realized his dream of starting a coffee business that
would have an impact in the community where he was born and
raised.

Don Paulino named his business Fundo Santa Isabel becuse Isabel
is the name of his young daughter and he wants to devolope a new
coffee generation.

Since 2016 Don Paulino has been helping farmers from Villa Rica
Access the specialty coffee market with a firm commitment to his
community and the enviroment. Paulinos family has harvested small
quantities of coffee on family farms for generations. Coffee has
traditionally been their main source of income. Paulino understands
thaty finding ways to improve the incoume earned per pound of
coffee can impact the choices families are able to make in their daily
lives.

Fundo Santa Isabel puchases from small farmer who produced high
quality coffee and returns the profits from the sale of Green coffee to
the farme who produced the coffee.
These farmers do not have the land or infrastructure to produce large
volumes of coffee but they can still improve earnings per pound with
better quality coffee.

ISABEL&QUALILTY&PROJECT&
ISABEL Project (IQP) aims to develop a system to support the
production of specialty coffee, determined both by cup quality and
product vitality, through standardized and optimized post-harvest
processes. Fundo Santa Isabel and its partnering farmers would gain
long-term value from this initiative by having access to resources and
infrastructure designed to optimize quality throughout the post-
harvest process.

In 2016, Don Paulino and the Co-Founder Cesar Marin built the first
Wet Processing (Beneficio) in the community. During the
inauguration Don Paulino said to the community the importance of
the quality and sustainability and establish a basis to experiment with
potential enhancements and alternatives to achieve a standardized
set of post-harvest processes designed to maximize quality in the
final product.

BUILDING&OPPORTUNITIES&
The capacity to produce great coffee equals the capacity to earn
more income per pound. This concept may seem simple but the
production of great coffee involves a complex chain of events. Fundo
Santa Isabel offers capacity building opportunities for farmers to
improve upon their coffee production.

There are more than 700 farmers producing coffee in Villa Rica. Many
of these coffee farmers sell their coffee (in cherry) to a middleman,
ending the potential earnings associated with specialty coffee
premiums.

Fundo Santa Isabels goal is to increase the number of capacity

building opportunities until every farmer in Villa Rica has an
opportunity to produce great coffee and access the specialty coffee
market. In 2017, 10 farmers will sell their coffee in the specialty market
through Fundo Santa Isabel.

BIODYNAMIC&PROJECT&&&:&CHACRA&D&DAGO&(BIODYNAMIC&FARM)&
The intention is to slowly, in the natural course of time, grow the land
!

into a living artwork that vitally expresses the cosmic energy at the
heart of the biodynamic principle i.e. the farm as a living organism.
Chacra D Dago is the only Biodynamic farm in Peru and duly certified
by Demeter Int. Whos the owner is Dagoberto Marin and Cesar Marin
a Young Coffee producer and our co-Founder of this Project of
Fundo Santa Isabel.

Cesar will develop a BD program for Young coffee producers in our

community of Villa Rica where the goal is to have a living soil and its
impact on the flavor of the coffee.
