L ever blocks are a versatile lifting & tensioning M achined and heat treated gears, offering
device widely used in rigging, construction &
mining.
 Lever blocks can be used in any direction, but
must be in a straight line.
T he Beaver lever block has a chain guide fitted
in order to stop the load from jumping out of the
pockets on the load sprocket.
T he Beaver 3G Industrial Chain Lever Block
mechanism and gears are enclosed in a robust
all steel compact shell.
T he load chain is made of high resistance,
Grade 80 Alloy Steel, black finish, heat
treated, calibrated and marked according to
International Standards ISO 3077 and ISO 1834.

E very Beaver 3G Industrial Lever Block is
operationally tested to its rated capacity and is
supplied with a Beaver test certificate, relating
to its stamped identification side plate.
B eaver ID plates and rivets are supplied in

them ideal for underground mining.
A comprehensive range of spare parts are
available, complete with full repair facilities and
re-testing to NATA specifications.

A ll Beaver lever block gears are fitted with

industrial Roller bearings.

T he short arm lever and the gear ratio allows

minimum effort to raise maximum load with
maximum security.

T he top and bottom hooks come complete with

cast latches.

Top and bottom hooks are fitted with ball

bearings to allow rotation under load.

Standards.

H eavy duty, available up to 9 tonne capacity, the

V-Series industrial manual lever block is designed
for a variety of applications in mining, heavy industry,
major construction works and off shore exploration.

T he V-Series Lever Block has all the features of the

Beaver 3G lever blocks, with extra safety built into its
design.

T he load chain is made of high resistance, Grade 80

Alloy Steel, black finish, heat treated, calibrated and
marked according to International Standards ISO
3077 and ISO 1834.

A ll Beaver lever block gears are fitted with industrial

Roller bearings.

Incorporating a safety overload clutch (limiter)

mechanism, an added safety precaution, as the handle
cuts out at around 30% more than the rated W.L.L. to
prevent severe overloading of the lever block.

E ach 3G-V Chain Lever Block is operationally tested

to its rated capacity and is supplied with a Beaver
test certificate, relating to its stamped identification
side plate.
