Topic : A Ride in the Safari Park (Unit 10)
Focused Skill : Listening and Speaking Skills
(Integrated Skill: Writing Skills)
Previous Knowledge : The pupils are already familiar with some of the name of
the animals such as elephant, tiger and lion.
Content Standard : 1.3 By the end of the 6-year primary schooling, pupils will
be able to understand and respond to oral text in a
variety of contexts.
Learning Standard : 1.3.1 Able to listen to and demonstrate understanding of
oral texts by:
(a) asking simple Wh-Questions
(b) answering simple Wh-Questions
Learning Objectives : By the end of the lesson, pupils should be able to:
1. Ask and answer two simple Wh-Questions correctly.
2. Answer 4 out of 6 questions correctly in the
worksheet.
3. Point out 5 out of 8 animals correctly. (LINUS)
Vocabulary : crocodile, rhinoceros, elephant, hippopotamus, ostrich,
lion, zebra, giraffe
